It is powered by the all-new 3.5-liter V6 engine from Honda, offered for the first time on the Pilot, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission specially developed for this model. This combination provides a smooth and responsive driving experience with 285 horsepower at 6,100 rpm and 262 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm (SAE net for both). Furthermore, a standard downhill speed limiter system enhances the off-road capabilities of the Pilot.

I test drove 2025 black edition clocked it with Race Stats app. 0-60 (in normal mode) in 10 secs, no brake tork just floored it. It could be so much better, but it's not.

However I do think Honda under reported power numbers with the old one with the V-TEC. My dad's passport flat out shoves you into the back of the seat with like a 6.2 0 to 60 time. It's quick.
