My model is a 2020 Rebel 500 but this will probably work for older models and some newer ones (at the time of filming). This should also work for Rebel 300 models. #hondarebel #handlebaralignment #motorcycle

Awesome video! This helped with my Honda Transalp after tipping it over while trail riding. I was about to conduct the fork alignment but noticed it was my riser so tried your technique first and bingo, it centered. Turned out the dealer didn't tighten my top riser clamp screws. Top/forward one were somewhat hand tight and bottom/rear were barely finger tight.surprised the bar didn't shift prior.

I think you are right about the way that you straightened your bike. I think you can also do the same thing, using the limit stops on your bike frame. My bars are off by 1/4". I hit the back of a SUV that stopped in front of me. The bike landed on my right leg and just touched the road with the tip of the brake lever. When I get the strength back in my right hand I'll try to fix my bike.

Bought a 2018 Suzuki gixxer a month ago, and realised the handlebars is of center, this technique is how we fixed our BMX's way back in the 80's, took roughly 10 minutes to center my Gixxer's bars

The Honda showroom guys didn't help me, they said they had to change the handle and said it's curved(my bike Honda cb350rs. india), in the end I didn't do anything and bought the bike and went home, thinking i'd show in another showroom tomorrow, just searched on KZfaq and finally got this video. That's all, my dear friends, the scoundrels in that showroom don't know a coconut. No matter how much I thank the person who put up this video as a solution to my problem, it's not enough.❤

Bro its good to know you saved your lot of money. I was not lucky as you and suzuki service centre guys here in India charged me hell lot of time and money by changing shocker rod, handlebar, T and then also those idiots couldn't solve the issue. And just a small trick worked like charm for my gixxer 250. This shows how incapable these service centre technicians are. Lesson learned never ever trust dealerships and service centres for you beloved machines.

@jimmyjakes182328 күн бұрын
If it wasn't a crash and especially if you wrestled the bike up by the handlebars instead of doing the thing where you walk the bike up by stepping backwards, then it's a lot more likely that this is your problem instead of the forks being misaligned.
@Zjones555552 жыл бұрын
So did you do this with all the bolts down the forks losened aswell? Or just the two bar risers lose?

Did it really get aligned like this? How is it possible. The 14 mm nut that you showed is not designed to move. It's a tight fitting thing. Can you please explain? I have the same problem. I bought a brand new RE Hunter 350. The handlebar is slightly to the right while the tyre is straight. Does the nut you showed has room to move or rotate in any way? I just cant get my head around this procedure.

Have the same issue with my Honda hness cb350 after a minor drop. Honda guys are just not getting the issue, they've serviced it twice but the problem still persists. Let me know if you have found a solution around it.
@scotthiddleston8246Ай бұрын
I'm thinking banging it in the correct direction causes it to slip back towards being aligned, regardless of whether those pedestal bolts are loosened. I agree that the 14 mm nut probably does nothing.

So you don't need to lose the pinch bolts and side tree bolts or axle right?? You just need to lose the handle bar raiser bolts and bumped it????
