Coming from dirt bikes I've never redrilled into the new bars. I've always ground the nipples on the controls off and wrapped with electrical tape around the bars where they'll mount. It saves from broken parts when you go down Also I've always ran Pro Tapers and the tag on the bars specifically says don't drill into the bars.

Great video I love my GY6 lexmoto aura in the United Kingdom. I once had a song Shen CRF 125 scrambler clone and I wonder how you register a bike with modifications for being road legal or do you just do the yearly ministry of transport test (MOT) to validate it sort of thing?

the front and rear tires plus rear wheel are sold out on the website... is there anywhere else I can go to get these same tires and rear wheel?

Just hope if ever I get one of these Ruckus and this kit I find someone who can install all this.

RW, I have an Ice Bear PST150 Mojo Trike, have already gone to larger carb, different variator, CDI..etc. I really want a larger engine 300-600cc, do you know of, or have you heard of a larger engine swap with my 150cc GY6? Also want to beef up the front forks as the ones on it are nothing but practice for Evel Knievel stunts with each pothole. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I'm going to do that next . That's what I really want. But I got the icebear maddog 4th generation with the one shock digital odometer. It's no ruckus but. Could I buy like a partial kit? I don't know much out the mechanics but I wouldn't need the brackets to extend it. I guess what all would I need? All I know is the gy6150cc and the carburetor for it .the best but what else? Thanks

I'm confused a bit, is the lowering ancillary to the swap, or is it just something else you are doing as well? Can I GY6 swap a Ruck and keep it raised? I'm interested in making a baby "scrambler" type of ruckus for scooter camping and very light off pavement use. Fire roads, dirt, and a few light bumps. Nothing crazy, I'm not stupid I know the limits of a scooter. I just happen to love scooters and I really like the ruckus, it's perfect for light camping/backpacking because of its customization potential and open design with a million options for strapping and storage. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

use hairspray or clear laquer to put your left grip on it lets it slide on then sticks it in place so it wont slide off randomly while your riding

The only thing I hate about these builds is leaving the front fender off. If you actually ride your ruck for any amount of time, you'll see how old it gets with grime splashing up on the inside of everything and on you. Same with the rear as well. To me personally it would be worth it finding and fabricating some kind of fenders that would work and still look cool. Other than that, I love these ruck builds.
