Honda S2000 vs Toyota MR-S Touge

Жыл бұрынTrying to keep up with an S2k. Had to push so hard to keep up in fact, I starved the frogs engine in a series of high speed sweepers. These were the events leading up to that moment. You can also see at a couple moments, i get a fuel cut and the ABS light flashes, my battery hold down failed and my battery was contacting the chassis. Engine swap pending, stay tuned.

Throw in a LSD too when you do the swap. I'd say you did pretty well with a 1ZZ and 5 spd.

Good effort….. the s2000 is a better car for this but the mr2 did good

Ya blinding sun and traffic can always ruin a good time which is y I normally do my runs at night I eventually want to get an mr2 zzw30 and 2zz swap it but I’m more than happy with my celica gts rn

Swap in a 2ZZ and the 6-speed from the Celica GTS, and you will have the S2000 in your rear window. Honda engineered the hell out of the S2000 so that it could perform like the rear midship of the MRS. But the MRS is a natural rear midship and its still way lighter. And dare I say...it may even turn a little better in corners.

Swap it, supercharge it. That's what I'm doing with a 2ZZ 1:10.5 & Rotrex C30-94.

@Dimos really need more torque from bigger displacement. Running between 6000 and 12000 feet of elevation I need all the torque I can get 😅 plus they have a better oil pump and cylinder head designs and the potential to make big power is always there if I wanted to
