@@DellaHondaPlattsburgh !!!!HELP!!! 2016 ILX Every time I try to get my cruise control to turn on, I then hear a loud beep and it will read ACC OFF - What does that mean? Well, actually I now know what that means. But instead, what needs to be done for it to be ON. Randomly, it will allow me to activate Cruise Control. But then!!! As I'm going down the road - I hear that same BEEP sound and then on the screen above my steering wheel, it'll read, ACC OFF. Is there a problem? Or does something need to be done? ALSO! Under the hood, if you open the fuse control box...!!! On the right!! There are two I guess with LONG fuses or LONG relays..? One of them controls ALL interior lights and basically controls and IS POWER to the WHOLE INTERIOR. From my windshield wipers, power steering, lane control down to my Radio and Lights. Autozone, O'rileys and AutoZone.. places like that do NOT and will not have them. Nor will they order it for me. So my questions as well as the first one, 2) is it a fuse that is blown or a relay or 3) where do I find one to replace? OH READ THIS PLEASE!!! I HAD to RIG it for my car to get power to the interior in order for my car to start!!! I took a piece of metal or copper and stuck it from one bolt to another (the bolts are located in the fuse panel box under hood) !!!!!!HELP!!!!

Thanks Brian. Educative. Please can you enlighten me on errors around LKAS, ACC etc, which came on suddenly on my dash. I’d been driving in the rain and via some slightly flooded bits, nothing major. Switcher engine off and on, errors still on. Kindly advise.

I have a Honda CRV -!8 and twice recently while I was driving at low speed ( 10-15 miles) over a speed bump on a bridge, the car broke hard. It was during the night. This happened on the same speed bump. I notice the second time the the cruise control was on but not engaged at the time. It continued to work fine after that and no warning lights came up. In both cases there was not a car in front of me. Any ideas why it happened?

I hit a deer and the clips holding the radar broke, which knocked out the radar and that knocked out cruise control and some other features. Cost me about $650 to fix.

Hi, can you please tell me how to turn these systems off in a 2016 honda civic ex. The indicator light for both acc and lkas appeared suddenly one day on on my dash, (I had just started the car to go to work. They were not on the night before. They're controlling my car whether on back roads or highways. It scares the heck out of me. I've tried everything in the guide and every answer I've been given yet to no avail. The hand book says if the indicator lights stay on their is a system malfunction. This car is like brand new. Only 30k miles on it and drives perfectly except when it's braking on its own for no reason and/or constantly flashing the I'm not staying in my lane when I am. Again, controlling the steering wheel for no reason. I've tried hitting the main button which most tell me will shut the systems off bit it doesn't. Going crazy with these two systems. Please help me with turning them off for good.

Hey, did it snow by any chance? The radar/camera can become covered from slush and spray and turn the system off.

@@andrewb607 Thank you for answering Andrew. No though, the weather has been fine. I actually have read about that but I just bought the car a couple of months ago. I was able to turn them off for a bit but it started again suddenly and the way I turned them off before no longer works. Even though it was clean as could be when I bought it, is it possible what your saying could still be blocking the cameras etc from the previous owner even though it is and was spotless since day 1. The car did come from Mass. If possible, how would I check and know for sure? Also, how would I fix it? I do know the camera on the passenger side view mirror needs to be realigned. The dealer said they could do that but not much help on the two issues I wrote about. Sorry so long.

@@lizzywatts2806 based on your description you can maybe just turn off the lane assistant. I drive country roads a lot and had issues with it when their is no middle line. It's a button on the dash to the left of the steering wheel. Hold it for 3 seconds and you'll get a notice saying lane keep is off. It won't automatically try and keep you in your lane. Personal preference.

When the ACC is operating, and traffic ahead slows below your set cruise speed, I know the vehicle will be slowed. Are break lights activated to warn drivers behind you that you are slowing, even though the driver (me) has not touched the break pedal?

Neil_n_Wendy Kelcey Yes. I am the owner of a 2019 Honda Civic, and I have seen my brake light in the rear view. The car is also smart enough to simply “let off the gas” and roll slower.

yes, after putting a new windshield, they have to calibrate. They did it on mine.

can I use the ACC without the LKAS? How do I deactivate the LKAS alone?

Yes, you can use the ACC and LKAS each separate from the other if you wish. The cruise main has to be on to use either. Then to deactivate the LKAS you push the button on the left side of the steering wheel with the LKAS pipcture/logo on it. thanks...i knew about part of it but my new Odyssey also has the collision avoidance that should also be turned off to make this work. They are all interrelated. Once I turned off the collision avoidance, the LKAS/ACC separation worked as you described.

You should be able to have all the Honda sensing features on at the same time. Having them all on at the same time should not prevent any of the systems from working. By collision avoidance, do you meant the forward collision warning? You should be able to have the FCW on at the same time as the ACC and LKAS.

You are correct....you should be able but not the case with the 2018 Odyssey at least.

I have driven a 2018 Odyssey with the all the sensing features on without any issues. I had the FCW, ACC, and LKAS all on. There may be some setting that needs to be adjusted in your van. I'm not sure where you are located, but you are talking about a USA spec Odyssey right? If not, there are differences between USA spec models and others.
