5 жыл бұрынExplanation: More welding. We ended up using Carbon Dioxide for most of this video instead of the usual Argon-CO2 mix, so results aren't quite as neat but won't matter as sills have covers. It was also about to rain hence a heat-gun was used to dry paint in some places.

hi, can you help me. you seem to favour covering a hole where others insert the patch withing an area. which is best? keep up the great work.

Hi. Aslong as both joining surfaces are clean of rust and paint, either method should work. The reason for covering the hole over cutting out and welding is after all the grinding it tends to make surrounding metal thinner hence harder to weld, it can be easy to 'blow a hole' using the cut out method. Hope this helps!

hi, you seem to prefer covering a hole with a patch over it. others say to fit a patch within a hole. which is best? keep showing the videos, i enjoy watching but are slightly confused by the two diferat ways. advise please. thanks
