Thank you, this has been on hold for a few weeks, waiting for an engine hoist to arrive. I’ve got that now so hopefully be able to find the time to continue with it. Lots to do still. Engine needs to come out, and be stripped and cleaned, rebuilt, it has low compression, and water in the crank. So much more to do, brakes are frozen, forks need a rebuild, clocks need replacing, needs a repaint, as does the engine, it’s going to be about 2 years.

Yeah that was my thoughts, old video, how long had they had the bike, but it was definitely running at some point while they had it, so I think it just deteriorated in their barn.

Possibly, the motor was full of carbon dust, I recon it just disintegrated as soon as it was used. New one on the way anyhoo so all good. Next up will be seeing if she fires. Odd on the clutch lever as that was so in-operational, I can’t see how the garage got the bike running anyway unless they jumped the wires. Weird really, but all good fun, gives me stuff to play with. I’m working on the fuel tank at the moment and it’s leak free which is a relief.
