Mine does the red light. I have to tap or wiggle the board it goes green and connects. Eventually it will goes red and car will turn off again. Ive since switch to snakeemu. But havent messed with it since.

What happens hondatas have worn out ecus components then reality they was made for chips not that extra load of stuff hondata offers but hey its the only ecus thatll take hondata board 🤷♂️
