I had fun, but once I got all 9 targets, killed Juliana and broke the loop after killing myself, I came to the conclusion I did not want to do this again. Upon reflection of Groundhog Day and Happy Death Day and how such an existence is hell, I should have realized the gimmick would get old fast.

Despite developed by one of the most prominent developers in the stealth genre, Deathloop has surprisingly crappy stealth mechanics.

Dishonored has surprisingly crappy stealth mechanics too. Just because they're currently the most prominent doesn't mean they're good at it (play either of the Styx games instead)

deathloop aint a stealth game tho. the devs said it themselve its a murder puzzle and non lethal stealth stuff wouldn fit in with the core premise.

Pretty sure it's not a stealth game as much as a first person puzzle shooter.

I found the stealth was more consequential in this game because being seen meant Julianna could find you, it was terrifying.

Its an action game with stealth elements, not really a pure stealth game, tho pure stealth is an option (however stealth isn't very efficient or fun compared to running in blasting in this specific game)
