@@LaikaLycanthrope Not that I know of or can find online, and only one movie can be viewed in the theater in "Mystery Science Theater 3000 style". The other 3 you watch on the TV in your house. There is no commentary except for the occasional commercial which will mention a thing or two about the movie.

Speaking of Henry Stickmin, there's a Henry Stickmin's Collection in Steam which is the remaster version of the original 4 games but they have to change the music due to copyright issues and the 5 games is about the choices you make from the 3rd and 4th game. It's really fun to play.

Season 3 and 5 are best. Season 2 and 4 are next tier. Season 6 was good. Season 1 is season 1. It’s incomparable because it got it started so it’s great but then got improved upon

Comedy is all about timing, and the rule of threes: According to JR, that means never give a joke ANY time to breathe, and repeat every punchline three times in different ways. Because, you know, awkward repetition is funny. especially when... you let it... just kind of trail off...

I treat the game like one big episode of interdimensional cable. I found it enjoyable for the most part. My favorite part was the Buck Thunder 2 bit in the very beginning, I laughed my ass off through the whole thing.

He didn't make you creep around McDonalds for sauce, the insane R&M fandon made you do that! Rick is clearly portrayed as acting insane for desiring Mulan chicken nugget sauce so much. Like the alien interrogator even tells him "Rick you're looking for a chicken nuggets sauce while your brain is melting" and at the end of the episode in thr garage Morty is creeped TF out that Rick is suddenly sp obsessed with a McNugget sauce all of sudden

humor is of course subjetive but you cant deny that the gunplay works incredibly well also I dig the soundtrack

The gunplay "can" work well. Issue being, theres literally no reason to ever actually use all of its abilities. There is no reason not to just pick Kenny or Creature and never use any other weapon ever again aside from when youre required to

@@zeallust8542 you can say that about every fps ever made. People latch onto the guns that they like and shelve the others. I pretty much never used creature. I stuck to squeezy and the shotgun one for the bulk of the game.

Pickle Rick comparison was on point. Humor in this game vary very much, at its best it can be pretty good (tutorial piece was great), but mostly it is pretty average or worse. And the worst part it tries too hard. And just like with 'pickle rick' joke, you can see how dumb their jokes can go. Not just bad, dumb.

I thought that episode was actually a pretty interesting exploration of Rick's ridiculous levels of ingenuity and willpower, his ruthlessness and dysfunctions, and a weird russian legend I'm pretty sure they made up but which still struck an unexpected chord. Also I feel like maybe it held a mirror up to him and he at least briefly started to see how silly it was to go to those lengths just to avoid a little family therapy? The therapist herself was pretty well written and relatable, also, IIRC.

All this game made me think is how I remember Stranger's Wraith did this same thing in a much less annoying capacity, and I'm very glad to see that wasn't lost to someone on the writing staff for this episode.

@@Sablus regrettably after Munch's Oddysee (which was not received well by fans of Abe's Oddysee and Exodus), the creator backtracked a ton and now only wants to release 2D platformers like the first two games, which kinda kills the appeal for a large section of the audience who'd love the world.

People forget that the humor was "dated" back then, too. BarcaLoungers, betamax... All these items were defunct for 10+ years by the time Gex showed up. That was part of the joke - He was out of touch with the real world, by choice.

nice video, but i don't get why people complain about the dialog frequency. That's the fun part, whitout it is just a normal shooter, mediocre at best. it was one of the best games i played last year.

Wow HGT did NOT like this game at all in the slightest. I have it in my top 5 of last year just because it was the first game from this studio and it felt like they were actually lots of funny parts, albeit a little unbalanced. That to me is WAY preferable to the other way video games do jokes, which sound like they were decided by a committee and market-tested first and all land flat. Also there are SO MANY lines of dialogue for when you walk away from an NPC and that needs to be commended somehow.

You can actually turn down how often the guns talk in the menu. I had a blast playing it. Not every joke lands and the story is pretty basic, but the game play is solid and the guns handle really well. For a "comedic" game it definitely could've been worse. If you have game pass I recommend you try it out.

I thought it was fun and funny. Some jokes do go on a bit too long but for the most part I was just glad to finally have fun playing games again. far too much realism in the market nowadays with only indie games really pushing things in more creative directions.
