Don I just watched this with my 89 year old Portuguese mom and we both loved it. You come across as down to earth and lovable. Thx for being such a proud Portuguese and making us proud.

Just found your video through a friend. You have such a likable personality and I enjoyed your video so much! Looking forward to seeing your other videos. I make torresmos at Christmas time. My mom and dad have both passed away, and I do my best to make my mom’s dishes during the holidays.

My mom always made toresmos on the stove top. I have started making mine in the oven. So much easier although it’s a long process. I use traditional pepper paste in the marinade. I enjoyed your video

Yes Portuguese make good food. Is this torresmos also known as the salt beef? My sons grandma would make this salt beef in chunks and it was so delicious she also made a meat spread with it....to die for

Thanks, we're glad you found a torresmos recipe that worked from our channel. I do a pretty mean Bacalhau com Natas which is fairly close to the Bacalau a bras. I will talk to my advisors ( mom) and see about that wonderful looking dish.
