Who is Seaoura? They are a relatively new company in the aquarium hobby. They make quality LED Lights. I put their 24/7 LED light through its paces and compare it to other lights. I give you my honest opinion. This light gives you options of manual or 24/7 mode.
This is truly one of the best lights out there for a great price point.
In this episode we do our first review of this company and their 24/7 Aquarium LED Light.

Nice light, another great addition to less expensive lighting options. Nice controls and a built-in dimmer are perfect for many applications. Great introduction and good luck with the light and the new company.

That 24/7 sunrise to moon is a fantastic option, I love that it considers the rhythm of a fish's day! A lot more buttons, for sure, but the instructions seemed easy to follow. Thanks, Chris.

Tiger Barbs are one of my all time favorites, now as far as the LED light. I think I might try it for my saltwater tank. Anyhow thanks for sharing Chris and have a great fathers day weekend🙂 LIKE#10

@@stubbsaquatics6080 The LED lights I use are simple, just plug them in, no colors or adjustments, they are the most accurate LEDS you can buy, they are 98 CRI yuji LEDs , highest CRI rating in the industry, they use them for matching colors for paint, printing, and artwork so they have to be extremely accurate, someone gave me them for a review.

That looks alot easier then the aqueoun ones I have. Half the time I have to manually turn them off because the programming barely works. Great review buddy! Now to just convince the misses we need new tank lights 😂

Great video! Sometimes I wonder who uses some of the colour settings, but still cool to have as an option. 24/7 feature is a must especially for those who go on vacations or forget to turn them on or off 😂

Hi Chris! I did not know this new Seaoura company, and later I will visit their site that you shared in the box, I am always looking for LED ceiling lights that can be IP68 to be inserted in the lid of my large aquarium. Really interesting the comparison and usage test you did and they look really good lights with their settings and dimmers as well as settings. Thank you for this review and have a nice weekend.

The new product may seem a touch more complex but still remain user friendly. I really like the versitility of the lights wither you house fish, plants or both. I liked the comparison video, as we're familiar with the Hygger products. This appears to be a product that would also be good for some of our reptiles, as the 24/7 mode would help their natural cycles, just like your fish. Sarah and I enjoyed the video! 👍

I have one of these lights, and I have been having trouble getting the light to work in 24/7 mode. I watched your review, to see how to get the light set into 24/7 mode, but I did see if you said how the control should look/be set when it is set to 24/7 mode. If you can help me with this I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you

Hi Dareq Seaoura are great lights but setting them can be difficult until you get use to them. To set the 24/7 Let's start from the beginning Turn light off then turn it back on.. It should come on and show you what percentage it is currently set to Depress the 24/7 button and hold . The button should light up like a horseshoe.. a light will flash indicating what time the light thinks it is. Change that by depressing the arrow up down .. you will find the flashing light has moved. .. keep hitting the arrow up down light until the desired time. Depress the 24/7 light a couple of times. It will show just the desired time. You have now set it. Thanks so much for watching my videos. I hope that helps. If you still have an issue let me know and I will try to help

Honestly, other than the profile and the bottom button on the controller this light reminds me a lot of my Hygger 24/7 model# idonthaveaclue. Which has worked flawlessly(even after a slight dunking), for at minimum 6 months. Great comparison. Now you have a video to plan for mid winter. I do have one issue with some of the companies producing these products. STOP MAKING THE NAMES SO HARD TO FIGURE OUT………………PLEASE. Something like aquarium stuff would work.

Yes, some of the names are little on the difficulties. Aren't they yeah very similar in appearance but most are. I do really like this light though it's it's really nice

There is no setting for that but when you look at the lights from above it sure looks like it's dancing on the water .. Seaoura is one of my favorite light brands ...

Can you remake this video and actually show how to set the 24/7 setting? Telling us you are setting it by hitting the 24/7 button and then watching you press the up/down buttons is very confusing. You did that each time you said you were setting the time. Still have no ides how to set this up even with their instructions.

I am sorry my video didn't help. Thanks for watching I hope this helps To enter the 24/7 mode, long press and hold the 24/7 button. Then, use the third button to select the local time from the list. When the AM/PM indicator is on, it indicates PM time. If the indicator is off, it indicates AM time. After choosing the time, press the 24/7 button to confirm it. Next, press the third button again to select the working time. In the 24/7 mode, there are 3 working time options: M1: Auto on at 6:00 am and auto off at 9:00 pm M2: Auto on at 7:00 am and auto off at 10:00 pm M3: Auto on at 8:00 am and auto off at 11:00 pm When the 6:00 indicator is flashing, it represents M1: Auto on at 6:00 am and auto off at 9:00 pm. Press the third button again, and the flashing indicator will be on 7:00, indicating M2: Auto on at 7:00 am and auto off at 10:00 pm. Press the third button once more, and the flashing indicator will be on 8:00, representing M3: Auto on at 8:00 am and auto off at 11:00 pm. Once you've chosen the desired working time, press the 24/7 button to confirm it. This is right from Seaoura
