I totally relate to the stress of being your ‘own boss’ but of course on a lower scale for me! You really do have to be motivated and love making videos! Also when you mentioned about when a video doesn’t do as well as you hoped, which I am so glad someone else feels the same way, or sometimes you have a period where videos aren’t doing as well as you liked it’s hard to keep motivation as it feels like your putting in so much work for it but at the same time it’s so much fun to make videos! I totally get the choice of not going to uni, if I was in your position I would definitely want to do KZfaq full time for as long as it is possible & then you have already got your A levels for uni in the future! loved the video as always Esme! xx

ThisEsme is inspiring. After giving up on badminton after going psychotic a few years ago, I gained a lot of weight and lost myself. Then I started watching this after giving up my TV license and then decided to go horse riding and now looking forward to a future in the equestrian world.

I was on the same situation where we weren’t sure if she’d make it or not except I was in living in another country at the time. I felt the exact same about being a vet! I’m 19 and I took a gap year and worked at a small animal vet, and came out feeling the exact same way! I am at a top university, but after a quarter of chemistry, I realized I don’t NEED to be a vet to feel fulfilled in my life. I’ve fallen more in love with animals behavior, which I could pursue in research without being a vet (even tho I could be a veterinary behaviorist). I found out when I was 16 that I have severe ADHD, which has made college more difficult too. I super related to your story and would love to chat! ❤️❤️

Don’t stress about the whole university thing! I’m your age year and I was so set on going to university to do theatre so I did! I went in September 2019 and sadly it really wasn’t for me and I ended up leaving in January 2020! I’m currently jobless (although I have interviews) and for the past few weeks I really wasn’t sure what I wanted to do apart from knowing I wanted to work in the equine area. Only recently have I found my target which is doing the course at British Racing School as a way into the area I’d like! I’ve just got to pass my driving test and then I’ll be able to go for it! We’re still so young to know what we 100% want to do and there’s so much pressure on succeeding and even the thought of not knowing what we want to do just makes us panic! Basically just don’t worry, we’re young, we have time!
