Taeyeon hated “Gee” the first time she heard it lmao she wanted to do a really strong concept and thought gee was too cute for her, even cried because she really didnt want to promote it but the song did extremely well! and it became the catchy anthem of kpop for a really long time, i believe she's at least fond of it now! lmao she performed it in the Begin Again TV Show! I recommend you watching it, it was a fun perfomance and she looked really happy :) i believe it will also change you perception of the song!

Im surprised you just reacted to this one! As a 2nd gen international kpoper this is the song that started it all! From what I knew, the whole nation of south korea, from kindergarten kids to middle aged man know and danced to this song, because of the mv everyone started wearing colored skinny jeans. Truly the definition of cultural reset!

I recommend you to watch and listen to: Japanese songs : Galaxy Supernova Indestructible Divine Korean Ballad songs : Complete Forever How great is your love I really hope and think you'll like it, maybe you wouldn't love that much but at least you'll enjoy it. Though it may be TMI, SNSD often came to Japan soon after debut because Kpop idols or artists who are called "2nd generation" were more active in Japan than now !! Many Kpop idols came to Japan at that time😢 That's why SNSD has many songs of Japanese version add to Korean ver. I'm looking forward to your SNSD Reaction again! Do you know that GEE was supposed to be a bside only? But SM had an issue with the title track which is Dancing queen, so they changed it to gee and they later released Dancing queen in 2013.
