the 1st scene of the vid is indeed 1 shoot (at 1st you see Irene and Seulgi, but joy and wendy were behind of the camera guy all the time with their chairs, once they were the 4 together, there was a cut) till one point. Wendy's low voice is so great but Seulgi's low range wooo Amazing ! That song is a cover from S.E.S (ex senior girl group from sm, end of 90') (that explain what you were asking about being old vibe), this was their "2nd song" ( well practically its a cover but yeah) their debut song was Happiness. after Be natural, Yeri Joined in ICC comeback (ice cream cake) (RV born in 2014, Yeri joined in 2015). Well i think this cover was done BEFORE their debut as Red Velvet (cause if you search for SMROOKIE SEULGI AND IRENE BE NATURAL, you will hear the same thing) and well Wendy is the main vocal and Seulgi's lead (meanwhile joy and Irene were considered as rappers in that moment, in the case of joy, was sub vocalist also. However, Joy and Irene worked a lot and now Joy is considered a Lead vocalist, with an unique voice, and Irene is still considered as a Rapper, but her voice is so sophisticated, and as you said in this video, there's a part in this song where her voice is so good) so that's the reason Wendy got so many lines. The reason I love Velvet side is because it feels so old vibe and I love that R&B sound, jazzy wooo Wendy's head voice is above the average ! the reason it's says SR... was because he was part of SMRookie project (short explanation--> those who can debut in a future)
