She have one of my favorite voice tones: beyond her vocal skills: just her voice color is so unique and special: She is definitely my bias in red velvet, and even if may listen to 50+ more girl groups, red velvet never left my top 3. She is a complete artist in every sense; and her voice is touching to me in a special way only her own voice can be. Your beyond amazing Joy. Have a happy birthday (late, but I need to repeat.) Joy's💚 voice is pure honey~ She has a lot of OST that you can check it out ( one of the fun fact: she sing like 8 ? if i dont remembered it wrong , Ost for her own first drama, and just amazing) Recently she also go on a show yhc sketchbook and sing cover and one of her Ost, so incredible~ I remembered from the same channel of this amazing vocal series that was also Seulgi's one, will be glad if you gonna check it out too~ Red Velvet( RV )= Real Visual, Real Vocal❤

Some k-music expert says that Joy has unique tone that people can't get even by practice. That's why knetz start call her "Fairy Tone Park Sooyoung" Especially after Joy filming her drama TLAHL, she's also sing a few OST for that drama. So many producer start to acknowledge her acting/singing talent... After that she got casted for another drama + OST. Every music, drama and even variety show PD start to call her even more and because that Joy gain more confident now:"""))) You can see from that video how Joy confident when singing keep raising and make her voice even better. yes, she debuted as a rapper but seeing how much she worked on herself and improved SO much to the point that now she's given the same vocal lines as seulgi and wendy in their recent albums makes me so proud. and now! she's the FIRST sm female to be nominated in melon music awards without a solo debut with an unpromoted ost that's not even produced under sm XD shows how powerful she got

There is korean saying "옥구슬 은쟁반 떨어지는 소리" means 'the sound of jade marble rolling down the silver tray' because that sounds so clear and beautiful. Now Joy's vocal is that jade marble. Joy is and was always the great singer. Also as I know, she is the first red velvet member after their debut who make a song kind of spin off, always in my mind with 임슬옹 which sm usually do for the main vocal. edit: sorry the first member was wendy she was earlier 8 month than joy

When they performed Hush by miss A, Joy fit the concept very well... She was sexy dynamite, her danced style was really smooth and full of soul.. They all sexy, almost all of them had strong stare, Joy was the only one with soft stare.. The other's dancing stylw, espesially Tzuyu was to powerfull, Joy was the best..
