They are both singing for Disney becoz they are chosen to sing this track in Aladdin Movie i think that is why Morissette is nervous hahahaha but they did a great job. 😂

"That's not a good place to stop" I don't really know why I laughed at that line. I found it really thoughtful, I'm a filipino and in my own opinion Ms. Morissette's voice has a touched of husky 💜 I thanked that you liked their cover.

Even if morissette would claim she's nervous, i have never.. ever.. seen her nervous. Once she opens her mouth, she gets lost in the song, thats why anxiety never becomes her when performing. I dont know about tired vocals too. She could have easily used her super headvoice on this one, but she maintained a very controlled volume on this performance, thus excellent harmonies. In fact, her posture speaks of confidence, that given when youre on the wish bus you have to sing songs while sitting down, but this performance she sang it with crossed legs.

Maybe morissette is controling her voice to be more fit to this song. She is a powerful belter and this is not necessary to this song

You should try reacting to Darren Espanto's all singing moments in Wish Bus. You'll be surprised how his tone progresses over time.

I feel like Morissette always has a raspy tone to her voice. It's quite prominent in her "Rise up" cover. I think it's just part of her vocal texture.

Mori should be pressured! The original was the Great Lea Salonga ! and Mori has been doing a lot of concerts local & international, so probably she’s not in best condition. Great Job for Darren as well. He’s grown so much. On point reaction/analysis.

They are so used to singing together that they just blend smoothly. They did Chandelier together when Darren was just 14 yrs old. This is the first time in a few years that Darren has appeared on the Wish Bus but he has done a lot of music and concerts since then and has come through puberty with his voice doing amazing. He just turned 18 y.o. on May 24th. Darren is like a little brother to Mori.

If you watch their Disney press launch video interview, Morissette mentioned that this is not her usual style as this was more theatrical than her usual stylings. So no, it doesn't have to do with her being nervous or sick just that it's out of her usual stylings (belting, vocal breaks, whistling). This is after all going to be an official Disney recording.

She was trying to hold herself back to stay true to the original and classic tone. She was singing the song as a representative of Lea Salonga who is one of Morisette's musical inspirations. You will notice that she held back her signature vocal cracks and even didn't go too high even though she'd prolly slay it.

Nailing the high notes are not Disney. Disney songs are always soft and sweet, so they make it sound absolutely perfect.

If you knew Mori, she's used to singing with a thick tone and she do lots of growls and she's trying very hard to not do that in this song since it's Disney. She and Darren trained to have a Disney voice, I don't know if it's part of the agreement since they were handpicked by Disney itself to do their version of this song for Philippines. But the way they sing in this particular song is really different from the way they usually sing.
