Your first video about this was linked on the Weber virtual bulletin board forum and Weber representative joined in and talked about it. They were aware of your video and problems before you called. Glad they took care of it....

Well… I’d say you got special treatment. I bought the Summit Kamado E6. $1,250. Was missing all fastening hardware, tool hooks, logo, bracing… called. They sent most, but still managed to short ship a few things. Had to call again. I Asked if they could throw in any accessory since I bought this and 3 other grills. They said no! I had to beg to get overnight delivery. Called again and asked for manager. Said would call back next day. 3 days later I did get a call from manager. Finally they sent a fuel bag which is cool. If they had’t i would have taken it back to Ace. Good news is. All the parts finally arrived and I was able to finish putting it together. … and I LOVE IT !!

I dint have a KZfaq channel and Weber has always had the best customer service I’ve had.

That somewhat restores my faith in Weber. I am the chef that opened the first Weber restaurant, knew George. Recently called for some help on my Summit. Reached a third party customer service. Basically told all those parts are no longer made. How far they have fallen.

Thank you for your honest review. I recently had an issue with my Weber performer and I felt like I had to jump through hoops just to get it resolved. I was shocked because I never had a problem before with a claim. They finally shipped out a new leg support when all I wanted was some touch up paint. I still love all my Webers and have recently purchased a go anywhere charcoal grill that is awesome. I appreciate your skills and I also never let anyone assemble my products but myself.

I’m glad to hear that they replaced the grill with a brand new on and hand delivered. I have been using my red one for over 5 years now and I enjoy it very much. Mine is not as shiny as yours. I love the fact that they are inviting you to the factory. I worked in a plant that made steel truck wheels for many years. The processes are so interesting. From stamping, to painting and on to packaging. It’s not that problems arise, it’s how they handle the problem is what the company is made of. And social media makes a difference.

Tom, I 100% trust the honesty of your reviews, and I 100% believe that you’re not sponsored, or sent grills for free to review etc, but to you’re point, they know who you are, and they knew they needed to go over the top in fixing your grill. When my red limited edition had the same problems, a replacement lid and bottom were sent to me. They were both packaged separately, and marked as a replacement kettle on the vent. I was expected to swap all of the parts. Which is cool, except the replacement kettle was defective as well. I say all of that to suggest what the “normal claim process” is likely to be). At the end of the day, I’m just not confident in spending the amount of money that Weber is charging for these kettles seeing that they’re having the same sort of problems. (Also noted by early reviews on Weber’s website) Again, I have NEVER had a problem on a normal production weber kettle. I’m so upset because I’ve waited for months to get my hands on one these gorgeous grills. If I thought I could get on one free of defect my biggest problem would be choosing a color. Just disappointed.

Glad Weber is taking care of you. I’ve had them take care of a couple things in my family over the years and they’ve always had good customer service. Weber is probably the best thing in illinois.

I have three webers a 26 inch and two 22-inch Performers and every time I call Weber there very helpful and want to fix any Problems there a great company. I love my webers

Weber still has good customer service. I bought glen blue 26 and bowl got good sized chip. I emailed Weber, shared pictures, and they sent new bowl. Didn't even have to return old one.. Glad it was resolved. Nice looking grill

Weber customer service is very good. They sent me new hardware last year because the bottom vent attachment had rusted in place.

I’m just saw your video, I liked and subscribed to your channel. I’m glad you had great customer service with Weber. I have not been so lucky with the Weber customer service department. One rep had told me since I bought a Weber through a vendor (Target) there was nothing he can do for me. And good luck. I’m very disappointed in Weber.

Thanks for the look at the new Weber. I'm trying to decide if I should get a new one or a used one. There are some on craigslist near me in good condition for about $50. Too bad those handles aren't really wood! That surprised me. I thought that was a big selling point - that and the thermometer with "wings". The yellow one would match my little canned-ham camper so I might get it anyway. I could make my own wood handles to replace the plastic.

Weber has excellent customer service, in fact if you look at my profile picture that’s my Prothetic leg, and when Weber Canada seen it they sent me the Red Limited Edition kettle, Weber USA sent me ball cap, thermo glass, golf shirt, t-shirt and a bottle opener with a hand written thank you for being a Weber fan.

Good for you Tom. I have only had 1 problem with Weber and we can't find any numbers to register and it's not their fault. I have had great things from weber. I was defending the Weber lighter cubes and was getting berated by a guy. Weber sent me a P.M. thanking me and 2 boxes of the cubes. I hope you get a tour and they let you film it.

Good Deal Tom Im going to tell him Im a cousin of GuGa’s. i got a kick out of several wsm owners that mentioned there barrels were out of round, I use to pu in Palatine and Huntley. They use large squeeze lifts. There might have been over zealous loader. Don’t know for sure but it crosses my mind with different damages. Ps Palatine off Hicks Road is place you want to go. It looks like more of manufacturing you can see assembly line with different parts I dont know if its paint or primer. Huntley very Large modern whse.

I've had only one minor disappointment with Weber. I had one of the original Q's and the plastic frame cracked from a friend trying to force the grill into the stand. The frame parts were sold as a front and back. The part that broke was discontinued. So, the grill was trash at that point, but I liked it enough that I bought the newer model. I've had several kettles through the years, A Genesis, Smokey Joe and the Q and have been happy with all of them. I am glad to hear other commenters with positive customer service for problems with this grill. I am still on the fence whether to get one of these. I was thinking of getting one and leaving it in the box, but given these issues, I think I'd have to at least check the fit of the bowl, lid and grill grate. I doubt I'd cook on it and would have to try to explain to the wife why I bought another grill if I'm not planning to use it. Any help with that Tom would be appreciated. I think it's evident you've successfully developed a compelling justification. I'm looking forward to your visit to their manufacturing plant.

That yellow looks good! I got the blue one, but didn’t realize it was a high priced version of the master touch. Wouldn’t bother me too much, but how can they not include the warming rack on this version? $140 more than standard

I have a question about the lid holder. When you put the lid in the holder, does the lid sit more vertically or does it lean over the grill?

Weber will always make it right. My 26 lid and bowl had gotten damaged (porcelain chips mainly) and weber sent me a new bowl and lid so I ended up with 2 26ers 😎

If you wanted thenhonestbwarranty treatment why did you tell them you had a youtube channel? Did yiu not trust they would honor it unless you threatened them with a bad review video? More power to you but it couldve been legit, now who knows?
