Zazzle changed so much over the years. No more quick create either, and after so many days your designs won’t be available in the marketplace if you haven’t sold any and it’s per product not per design so it’s a little harder. it’s definitely a lot of work.

Great video thank you! One issue: Thumbnail includes "would recommend" and "wouldn’t recommend." And some logos are blurred. But in order to understand which you would or wouldn’t recommend i had to watch the entire video super carefully and take notes. A "conclusions" at the end would be HUGEly helpful. Lots of people are busy. Offering a conclusion at the end of your video is a big deal to lots of folks. Great video but i’m not subscribing because i don’t subscribe to channels that play games to force you to watch. Be well, have fun! 🤘

Hi Phil. I have been busy, so I haven't been watching as much. I am wondering what you think about making a free website with Ecwid or Big Cartel? You only get to list 5 items with the free website, but if you have a good niche, I think it could work. You would have to advertise yourself though. I think it could be a great start, though for FBA or POD. Just wondering your opinion.
@PhilipAnders

If you are good at marketing / have an audience to drive to the items and a good niche, that could work. As a beginner I would say it's easier to get sales with established POD platforms rather than driving your own traffic

In other words, to make $200-$300, You need to upload 500 designs or 100 or 1000. If anyone caught that, would you please let me know. Thanks.
@PhilipAnders
@PhilipAnders 11 ай бұрын
There is no right or wrong answer really. You can make $1000 a month on Merch with 100 designs or with 10,000 designs. There is too many factors that play into it besides just the quantity, niche selection, design quality and listing seo are all super important too.

Question: All the sites have different max MB sizes for designs. Since you auto upload what is the file size range you upload that fits all markets. I'm asking because sites will say that a file is too small for some products. I'm guessing that you just don't sell the items that require larger file sizes.
@PhilipAnders
@PhilipAnders 11 ай бұрын
Great question! Amazon merch used to require 4500 x 5400 until recently. Hence why that was my go to in terms of dimensions with a typical file size of 1-5mb each. And you're right some of the massive products aren't covered with that

I wish you'd included an idea what NUMBER of products you listed in order to reach your income numbers. It makes a big difference in the time investment to get started with each of these. Do you make $200 a month on 10 designs listed, or 500?? The financial numbers are useless without this.

you can expect it to be hundreds of designs to make sales, otherwise it would be too easy for everyone. I would say you need 1000 designs to make some real numbers.

Yes, it's Juna from DetourShirts. His YT channel is also great and very informative.

Not understanding the "$200 per month". Regardless of the size of inventory??

the figures are a combination of my experience (thousands of designs) and seeing/hearing other peoples results in the space. Obviously amount of designs and quality, niche selection has a big impact. So it's just a guide to the potential I see

what about Printful and Printify ?
@Kmakmizzle

Printify is r+ping your profit every way they can think of. They quadruple their blank prices and they're steadily raising them. I'm looking for somewhere else now. The prices are so high for blanks that your prices will have to be high to even make any money. One person had to spend almost $100 for me to make $19. It's a r+poff.
