I have Hannah the Cow pattern and haven't made it yet. Seeing yours in Bernat has inspired me to make one.

You’re too kind! The problem is I have too many ideas and not enough time to make them all 🤣

@@Tfwcrochet If it was possible I would have said just give me some part of your brain 😅 because, on my end I rarely feel creating 🙆🏾♂️

This type of yarn is similar to a home dec yarn that Bernat had. It was mainly for pillows and the like. I like the thinner Lazy Days for other stuff.

I’m still so surprised they say this is great for amigurumi in the description when most people don’t seem to like it for that.

Thank you so much! I can’t tell if he’s cute or not at this point since the experience of making him was so bad lol.

I wish I wouod have seen your review befoew I bought 2 skeins today. I teach knitting and crochet to kids ages 6 to 18 as a side job. I am a history teacher so you see why I need a second job. I wanted to test this yarn to see if it would be food to recommend to my new crocheters. Many of them come wanting to learn to make amigurumi and they often have teouble seeing stitiches. I wanted an alternative to the Woobles yarn to recommend. Something they could get at the local craft store and not have to order online. But now I wonder if it is even worth it. Woobles yarn in 164 yards and cost $11.99 a skein. This Lazy Days Lion brand yarn is a 125 yarda and $14.99 a skein. The woobles uses an H-8 5.0mm hook and the LB yarn uses a N-13 9.0mm hook. It is not a good comparison. I want to try the Lazy Days worsted weight yarn which has 174 yarda per skein and uses a J-10 6.0mm and at Joannes it comes in a 3 skein bundle for $16.99 or Amzon for $7.99 a skein. I want to try some other branda availble on Amazon and see what is better. But for now I will not be recommending this to my students. I sm now going to try and make a cat with it.

That’s so cool you teach crochet. Teaching is such an amazing skill that is really undervalued in our society. I hope you have luck making your cat!
