This movie was so overrated. Dialogue was bad, plot was forced. And you knew they’d come back to life through some magic bs that Marvel loves to pull, so the deaths didn’t seem as high of stakes.

KDSVSRK it’s definitely more in endgame, Hawkeye and his family, ant man and wasp and that family family. Tony’s daughter and Happy. A lot of cameos from past films. And then Captain Marvel. But most of them had much smaller screen time than Infinity War.

At least end game had clear side characters and main characters. In this one each character was like a main character. 🙄

He captured nebula and learned that Gamora knew where the last one was, after that it took him 1 week to get all 6 and thus allowed little time for anyone to be able to stop him. (After getting the power stone from Xandar it took him a week to get to Asguard, it then took a single day to get the other 5)

Honestly I'm the same, don't get me wrong I did really, really like Endgame, however there's so much gratuitous fan service that it almost takes away from the purpose of the film. It is still really well executed, but I feel like Infinity War had a more solid narrative and was generally more fluid, plus the subversion of expectation really throws you off the scent. I think that's why Infinity War worked so damn well, because it was always intended as a part 1, and consequently the writers and directors felt no obligation for the heroes to end up victorious, plus if you think about it Thanos is actually the protagonist of IW, he's the one with the clear goal he's set out to achieve, and ultimately emerges victorious, with the Avengers left licking their wounds and pondering over their defeat. I think that's why Endgame wasn't quite as satisfying as a movie in general, because the finish line was always going to be crossed at the end, and elements of it were more predictable, such as the reversal of the snap, the deaths of Tony Stark and Thanos, and the wrapping up of the whole saga.

I high key loved it a lot more than Endgame.
