I’ve seen a live theremin once. Was at a luchador wrestling event in Tucson. At intermission, there was a surfrock style live band. The band’s theremin was encased in the armless/headless torso of a female mannequin. I don’t know if it was good theremin-playing or not, but what I do know, is that it just wound up looking like the musician was molesting the mannequin to produce the ‘ooooOOOOhhhh aaaAAAhhhhOohhh’ noise. It was weird.

I was in a ska band 20 years ago and our singer did actually play theramin on a couple of songs.

26:36 actually, rohl Dahl hated Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory so much, he put a clause in his will that Great Glass Elevator shall never be adapted until the end of time. Just like how Mrs Seuss hated The Cat in the Hat so much she made it so we'll never get another life action adaptation of that material.

Fun fact. On average, British teeth are WAAAY better than Americans. The wealthiest people might all have glow in the dark veneers but poor people just can’t afford a dentist. We’ve got the NHS baby.
