about color palette... Batman series has 3 different colors not one, one for each movie according to the title and theme of the movie. Dusk, Midnight and Dawn.

Yup... & Dunkirk is “murky” mostly cuz it’s entirely on beach & set in WW2 where there’s no colour... in costumes or locations so that made sense! Inception & Interstellar isn’t blue tinted at all... Inception actually deliberately had several different kinds of atmospheres to distinguish between dream layers. Prestige was set in 1800 .. so!

No, Mr. Sooraj, it's a completely sensible question to which you don't have a sensible answer for. That's why you took offense and switched to cursing. You are supposed to make comments that are either critique, appreciation, statements or questions that require discussion. "Christopher Nolan fans LIKE HERE." is the kind of non-sense that makes me think if people really understand what they are doing. Whether they are aware of the difference between a KZfaq comment and a Facebook post. FYI, I am a Nolan fan. Edit : Just to make it clear. I again mean no offense, brother. I know im Very late but as for that scene in TDR, I never took it as him breaking down what the item was. I took it as him doing a "Do you hear how dumb this sounds if you say it outloud" so that he convince her it was made up. But thats just me.

my mom and several friends/relatives have never seen a nolan film so......i've only seen 4 of films cause 1. dont pay attention to western directors 2. didnt know they would be bad. so blame or praise nolan for making me pay attention to them now cause thats how i avoid bad films. if nolan does a film i know now to avoid them. the four i saw were the batman films and inception and no thank you. fell asleep in all three and not that "im so tired i dosed off for 5 minutes" but completely slept after the first 20 minutes and didnt wake up til the credits. BORING

Also it is very hard for him to get movies like that in the states and with subtitles, it will be harder. He has not watched a single malayalam movie and I am sure he thinks Malayalam movies to be of the same standard as a typical south Indian masala movie (which we know is not the case). He has done some trailers but trailers can tell only little of the awesomeness of Malayalam films. For him to watch a movie like Vaanaprastham is not realistic.

As great as nolan is he still suffers from the sexist notion of filmmaking which has plagued cinema from the early days. The male gaze is a prominent part of mainstream films and has been from the inception of cinema.
