Yeah, the show is graphically very violent but there's stuff in the comics that I doubt they could show on television. In the comics Starlight sucks off three guys at the same time to join the team, one of the Seven eats a live baby, and... well... lots of messed up stuff that TV censors would never approve in a million years.

I disagree. There are no superheroes that are "meant to be" anything. That's why there are different iterations of them all the time. Someone could have a different adaptation not faithful to the source material, as long as the character stays true to its portrayed variation, it is a solid movie.
