The Room is just a typical low budget movie with a bad script, poor acting and sloppy direction, except for one thing: Tommy Wiseau's performance is comedy gold because he is so unreal and so totally in his own world, that he seems to fail to connect with any of the (poorly constructed) reality around him. This is why he laughs when told about domestic violence and tells the florist to keep the change before she tells him the price of the flowers. He is so removed as to seem like an alien.
@JosipMiller5 жыл бұрын
Agreed, it is bad. 😄 There is also something funny and witty about Wiseau himself but he is out of context of his own created reality and script and acting are out of this planet. Someone said something about an alien who was taught how movies are made. I saw an interview, guy is actually easy going and funny.

HOW HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS THE ROOM IS THE BEST HORRIBLE MOVIE EVER
@RanMouri825 жыл бұрын
My first time watching The Room was at Rifftrax Live. Mike, Kevin, and Bill helped ease some of the pain, but the movie itself left me nauseous.

THE best example to date of novice film-school production; i.e, decent green screen [on roof], but still showing every detail of an event [coffee shop, phone cord..] Best example of first-time film-maker? Birdemic. BTW, HONEST BIRDEMIC!!!
