I know self cleans aren’t to fun. My mom used to bring me and my siblings along, and we all had to put in effort to clean up her car. Mostly cause we make the mess. She would make me picks up coins, brothers pick up trash and vacuum, and my sister organize. My mom would pay for the vacuums, and help my sister. It isn’t the funnest but it is the safer choice.

Bro I worked at a car wash for years, the 2 workerd constantly stole stuff, I won't lie, I did a few times to, but after this one time I had found a 50 dollar bill, this lady asked us is we saw it, and she's like r u guys sure? And we all said nope, and she drove of very sad, and her daughter who was 8 looked at us as they drove off, honeslty my hearted melted! I couldn't live with my self, I felt so bad, i wanted to die inside honestly, I jumped in my car, and followed her quickly, and couldn't find her anywhere, then I drove more, and saw her getting down at 7/ 11, and I told her mam I'm sorry we had accidently threw it in the trash with some papers, she was so happy, from that day, never took anything again, not even a dime! Anything I found, Id tell the owner standing in the waiting room, because if I put it in the cup holder, the other idiot working near me would steal it, so I'd just give any money to the owner, but I'll never forget that feeling I had when she drove off, I felt lower then dirt! Just happy I gave it back

As a former car detailer I’m gonna tell you straight up we don’t ever forget about money found in the car. The temptation to keep it or return it rings in our head the entire time. Any other property found in odd places are placed in the cup holder or middle counsel if you have any integrity. Don’t let people fool you saying they forgot and meant to return it. I use to feel so good about informing my customer that I even found a few quarters under the seat because the look of “Dang this a good person” makes you feel better then the feeling up coming up on quick cash
