Hey Steven, incredibly helpful video. The retaining ring is called an "E" clip based on how it looks. This E clip is small which is why it pops off easily. I got a regular E clip from the hardware store for 1/4" shaft. It is a larger outside diameter, so it spreads the load out better across the washer. To fix the looseness on lever 1 from using only one washer, I bought the thinnest nylon washer for a 5/16" shaft to take up the slack but not make it too impossible to snap the E clip back on. This is where a round file and sandpaper helps to get the best fit. Thanks for the video.

From my recent experience (yesterday), if you have this problem and you are not DYI expert, just RMA the damn thing if you can.

I had the same problem - and thought I could repair it easily. How wrong I was. Honestly I was shocked how cheap this whole thing is build. And because of this f**g E-clip extremely hard to repair. I spend hours with this, and even when I thought, I got it, the E-Clip jumped out again. Now the 250 € Bravo plastic-thing lies in my cellar - and I spend much more for a perfect working TQ6. No more worries

I wonder how to know if you've tightened it too far? At first I said, OK I'm not touching that tightening knob, for fear of causing this issue... but I couldn't help it, it's just too loose. So I tightened it quite a ways, but at some point I am getting diminishing returns (it is not appreciably affecting the stiffness of the levers anymore), so I guess I will leave it there.

Thanks for this video. Im thinking about buying the throttle quadrant but im holding back because of the potentiometers. Trustmaster uses HALL sensors and i dont understand why HALL sensors are not a regular standard. Potentiometers will spike eventually. I had the trouble with the saitek throttles that would start to spike after a year or so. How are these potentiometers? Are they good quality?

Great fix. While you had things apart, did you notice if the Bravo trim wheel is an actual axis controller (potentiometer) type? I'm trying to find an elevator trim axis control in MSFS 2020 but all the controls seem to be for discreet button / switch presses. This makes the Bravo trim wheel uselessly slow to use 😕

Can you use any lubricants to remove squeaky noise coming from moving the lever up and down ? I have this issue with one of the levers making noise.

I am curious to know whether or not you'd have any suggestions for fixing a squeaking axis, it's not constant, and only squeaks slightly at around 30% throttle, it only occurs on one of the axis's. Seeing as you opened it up, I'm curious if you'd encountered the problem before or would have any recommendations for fixing this error after seeing the insides of the unit. Thanks!

Hey Steven, I can't seem to remove the trim wheel after removing the screws you did, am I doing something wrong?

Thought I was the only one with the issue, never overtightening my quadrant again.

My autopilot buttons, landing gear, toggle switches and flaps suddenly stopped functioning. Honeycomb gave me a throttle tester and it was indeed broken. Do you have a fix for this?

My Washer is bent . I didn't have an extra one.

just brought a brand new throttle and all of the axis have about 1cm free travel in either direction, 250 f*cking euros and they ship this plastic piece of crap

So use those levels with some resistance shorts the life of those washers?
