The second ATR update (yesterday) appears to have restored the original thrust reverser configuration option, which is what I've just successfully reverted to. Thanks for your help, Marc.

Brilliant as ever Mark. What would we do without you. I must say having just tried this myself with the Honeycomb it’s your last option, using the TOGA button, that seems to be easily the most reliable. The previous method sort of works but not as well - it does it but doesn’t seem to like it as you observed yourself. The TOGA button is a bit of a rigmarole but seems the more clear cut. I am deeply indebted to you as usual.

Reverse thrust on the ATR is rarely used, so I don't even have it mapped at all. That being said, there are a few aircraft I have that show similar issue to what you describe here - my solution is to use the reverse detent to activate reverse thrust, but then move the levers FORWARD to increase that reverse thrust. I simply bring my throttles back down, notch them to the detent and reactivate normal thrust. It might 'feel' backwards, but at least this way like in real life you get to control HOW MUCH reverse thrust you want to use.

hm that's interesting. I was under the impression that the reversers worked perfectly well even after the update on my Bravo which is configured as you explained in your first video (I did a flight yesterday and the definitely worked). I just tested and can confirm, that the reversers do work perfectly well on my system with the same settings as before - BUT the levers don't visually move in the reverse position. Apart from that, there doesn't seem to be any drawback. So I'll stay with the initial config since I rarely glance at the levers on rollout ;-)

Really a great and simple way to work around this! I have been accused of doing more "fiddling" than flying and its these little annoying thinks that cause that! And if I do find a way eventually to sort it out by that time I have lost to much time so flight cancelled!

Well done on figuring this out. I don't know where us Bravo users would be without you 😂. My reversers still work after the update, but the levers in the virtual cockpit don't move.

Hi Mark, Tried the initial approach here on the TB V1 Yoke - and found it unworkable - I think due to the repeat rate on the V1 detent is faster than on the Bravo - and as such the toggle flicking seemed to keep reducing the amount of thrust applied, reducing the effectiveness of the thrust reduction. It was then extremely hard to get the timing right to un-engage reverse thrust when pushing the throttles forward. Solution 2 may be an option - but the V1 does not have toga switch, and having another switch mapped elsewhere is rather cumbersome and unintuitive... I played around with a number of combinations, and the best (workaround) I found was as follows: - Throttle 70% - detent pressed - Hold Throttle Reverse Thrust - detent pressed - Throttle Cut - detent released This works to decelerate the aircraft, does not result in a tail strike (although the front wheel does lift of the ground slightly with no trim / stick pressure) and still allows some slow maneuvering from stationary when using reversers in lieu of pushback. It also prevents the flickering of the lever that you get with toggle reverse thrust, and never leaves the reverse thrust toggle engaged when moving out of the detent. What it does not do, is visually show the levers correctly in the reverse position - which was the case prior to the reverse functionality being broken in the last update. I imagine a similar approach may work ok on the Bravo, - though whether it's preferential to the toga option... probably a matter of preference... ======= As a side note, all of this is a workaround - multiple bugs were introduced to pushback in the last update to the ATR - and as such, whilst looking for workarounds so the aircraft can still be used is valuable, ultimately we should not ned be looking for anyone other than Hans Hartman to find a solution - as the solution is to fix the bugs which have been introduced. Not only was the behaviour changed so that it is impossible to get the reverser detents working completely correctly in what are probably 2 of the most common throttle quadrants - V1/ Bravo - (and certainly the most common on xbox) - but also when reverse thrust is engaged fully after landing, the tail will strike the ground, as the calculation of the amount of reverse thrust required is too excessive. These are bugs. These need to be fixed. Unfortunately someone one the FS forums has been closing reported bugs with this functionality as having been fixed, when they are not... but how Microsoft handle things like this will certainly put a damper on my enthusiasm for any more "expert series" aircraft unless they can actually address issues being raised rather than just mark tickets as resolved when they are not 😕 I'd much rather pay a bit more, and purchase aircraft from a developer with a good track record, who engages with the community via discord, and who works with the community to identify and address bugs... something which I'm somewhat distrustful of MS to do with their eyes on the bigger picture of the Sim as a whole...

I tried to setup my Bravo with my ATR for the first time and went to initial video and update but it does not work. I'm guessing I need to refocus on the 2 axis throttle caliblation in the ATR but never could do this because that does not work anymore because I start my flight at day 1 with the latest version of the ATR... New video from scratch would be nice haha, great video's. Switching back to your 2 turbo prop profile for the Twin Otter. They are far from good but work more than this ATR one.

Have you tried the airbus controllers Mark ? Just curious if you could come up with a new configuration using them . The Airbus has 2 TOGO buttons . Thanks for the vid .

For some reason my TOGA button registers as button 29 not 9? I was also wondering if Authentikit/Vjoy or some other addon might be able to override the always on or off of the throttle detent to create the desired function?

Hi. Done every thing. A problem persist… The levers for throttle and conditioners are not moving together …. I installed the plane again …The same… I mean that to see the move rogether in the sim, in the honewell quadrant them are not sincronized…._

Hi Marc. I tried your changes after having set my Bravo up as you orig suggested, but #1 throttle didn't animate or engage into reverse. Eventually went back to original settings and all works fine as it was. Not sure why though!!

Has there been any chances since this fix, following your video I thought I had it all sorted but yesterday it seems something was changed, not by me as I have not played with the settings once I had it set up, done a few flights and it was all working as expected but something strange is happening now, its not stopping in ground idle when i have the throttle at the detent, as soon as i reach the detent it just moves straight into reverse, I have set one of the buttons (toggle smart cam) on my Alpha yoke to toggle the reverse thrust as my TOGA button appears to no longer work. Any suggestions what I can do to fix this?

Just a comment so folks know. It appears that Honeycomb is currently broke. I bought one for the ATR, but it developed a glitch. #1 throttle wouldn't hold "The Notch" and kept dropping back to flight idle. Honeycomb first blamed it on MFS updates, then we tried a fix. No luck. They said they would be giving me a RMA. But that didn't happen. After more than a week, I asked where is my RMA? They said they have lost shipping and supply contracts. To me, that translates to no money. My unit is sitting in the box now with no place to go. So be warned.
