Hey Lach, I’ve recently gone back to minidisk. I like having to carefully choose what I want to okay, and titling albums with PS2 keyboards and getting to know the albums again.

You should give it a shoot on the campfire Andromedas. I own a kann my self and the combination was amazing! Alot of the cost, but its worth it!

AZLA horizon is from korea and they have a lot of earphones that has good shape!!!

Why not add an Anti slip surface on the KANN or at least a rubber band around it so it has some resistance from sliding? At least that's what I do when I use a small DAC for table top use when travelling.

I remember you going off on a rant a while back about hi res music and yet you've got an astell and kern kann and a the Sony dac as well....

I am a hong konger myself and it seems like picking up the ZX300a is quite a good idea. but I was wondering if there are any good DAPs for the price range of 500US dollars.

I want a DAP better than my Xduoo X2, but the feature set I want means either dropping $300 minimum on an Android DAP and settling for mediocre usability, or getting a new phone from LG because it just makes more sense than buying a DAP.

I mean, unless you like to torture us and keep us guessing right? BTW I'm going in my 2nd week with my new MASS SENNS HD 6xx's and as I expected, I am just not getting tired of this sound signature. I think I've told you before that I'm not an audiophile like yourself be ANY means. But I DO however, enjoy, and am not shy about spending the extra $$$ when it comes to getting what I pay for. That said, I have a few questions for you; 1. Do you have a pair of the MASS SENNS HD6xx's? And if so, what do you think about them? 2. If you DO have a pair, can you do a review of them? 3. If you don't have a pair, [although I highly DOUBT you don't], have you tested a pair of these out, and what do you think of them? I'm really interested in what you think of them. I really am. I think you have a real knack of describing sound sigs that many hardcore audiophiles struggle with communicating. Anyway, I'm interested in what you have to say, and please be as detailed as you can about them ok? Thanks Lachlan, I'd appreciate it. Hi Lach. Would you care to give me a few words of comparison between the E4000 and the RE400? I remember you reviewed the RE400 some years ago and I have really loved passionately my RE400 but recently they have started to fail after years of usage....

Where in Shenzhen did you get this? Huaqiangbei area? I'm headed over there in Sept, and would love to find places that sell electronics for users and not builders. There's a million places that sell boards, batteries, components etc but I don't know where to look when it comes to more user end electronics.

The Sony player looks really nice. I used to own a digizoid z02 external dac and found it a hassle to carry basically 2 devices. Even now, not sure if I could carry a mp3 player and a phone. Curious if you've ever heard of the brand cowon?

Have you had the chance to hear the Nuforce EDC3 from Massdrop? I’d love to know your impressions of them. I have a pair and they’re pretty good with only a few regions of the audio spectrum that bother me. Overall though for a triple BA iem for $100 I’m not sure they can be beat.
