Bhai China aur uske aas paas mein the regulations with regards to covid change quiet a bit even today. So it’s best to check the HK embassy or immigration website before Planning anything.

Honestly speaking it shouldn’t be a big deal. If you’re applying for visa on arrival for tourist category then it’s a non issue. Rest of you’re going for longer or for the purpose of work then it’s best to coordinate with the company involved.

@@TravelingBanda Hi thank you for your response So with current guidelines we have to go for 3 days quarantine and then 4 days self monitor after which I'll stay for 3 more days and leave. It means the stay will be under 14 days so I believe the hotel reservation, return flight ticket will be sufficient to produce at immigration. Secondly while filling PAR it asks for accommodation, is it mandatory to fill the quarantine hotel as accommodation or the other hotel which I may stay post quarantine clearance? Or filling both is best.

Hi! It purely depends on your preference. Hong Kong is more touristy with good places to eat and shop and Macau is more of a luxury gambling casino hub with one day of site seeing. What I suggest is keep 2-3 days in HK and 2 nights in Macau if you like. And add one day buffer at any place as an option if you like.

Thanks for the excellent advice for Honkong. Could you suggest a package for 4 nights and 5 days which includes a visit to Macau. We are a family of 4 adults and a child of 9 years.

Hi, to go to Macau there is a pubic ferry option and private one as well. If you book a good hotel they also offer ferry service inclusive in the tariff of room. Usually the public ferry is like ₹500-1000 per person. (It could be cheaper) I was staying at the Parisian hotel so they had ferry included in room rent. Rooms are expensive in Macau as it’s like Las Vegas of Asia but you can find room staring from ₹5-6k for 4 star hotels for budget rooms you will have to travel far from the main stretch and that will add to your travel expenses so stay close to Macau casino stretch.
