@@daleycarterit's actually a very good feature. One of those features that are going to be implemented in most phones in the next few years. Not only does it help with eye strain, but it's also fairly cheap to implement. Also, as the technology improves you are looking at great eye care levels of protection. Is just how dimming your monitors were seen as a gimmick when it first started and then it was a standard across the board.

I change my phones every 1-2 months because it's my hobby and I got Magic 6 Pro just recently. Coming from phones like Pixel 8 Pro, IP 14 Pro Max, RAZR 40 ULTRA (my recent trio). I agree with most of the things you said, but I was surprised when I heard your comment about stereo speakers. For me those are the best speakers I have ever heard in a phone, formerly I said that about my Pixel 8 Pro. There is clear base and clarity and it gets very loud without distortion and when I showed it to my friends they were shocked that it sound like a small soundbar.

crossfader4617 same here, I have the P40 Pro Plus and I don't think there's been any other phone with a 10x optical zoom been released by any brand, they're all doing 2.5 to 5x max and relying on increased pixel count for cropping. I can live without GMS, it definitely has some advantages not having it. But I'm hanging on for Huawei, they're fighting back big time, 5G chips are back in production for the new phones so I'm hoping they'll dust off the 10x optical set up and bring out something even better soon, won't be long before they'll be number one brand again🤫

What glass does the screen use tho? I'd like to know, I bought the Magic 5 pro and it's great but within 2 weeks I had already picked up 2 small scratches on it even tho I'm really careful with my phones, I've looked online and can't find any info on the type of glass used in the 5 or 6 pro, just says glass. This could be a deal breaker for me if it's not gorilla glass.

Does it still stutter in video apps like Odysee or third party KZfaq Clients like Newpipe when on 120Hz High mode? Magic 5 Pro went to super stuttery with 30Hz on those. Makes video apps other than KZfaq as good as useless if you want to read comments or have the video playing in a little video.

Tech Spurt I bought the Honor Magic 5 Pro last year. It runs on the MagicOS 7 series, it's now March 2024 and I am still waiting for it to be updated to MagicOS 8.0 which is based on Android 14. Any idea when it will happen ? When a new model is launched, there will be a lot of info on the technical aspects of the phone. After buying the phone then you realised when it comes to the upgrade to the OS can be a frustrating experience, more so when there is zilch information from the company.

Till now ive been using Samsung zFold4 en Huawei P50pro as my daily drivers... Any suggestions which kind of upgrading phones to replace both?? I had tried iPhone 14proMax for 5months en been sold now.. Somehow i dont like the iPhone

The RRP was supposed to be £800 not $1100 based on its price in Asia.
