Күн бұрынHey everyone! I'm so excited to finally share this unboxing and first impressions video of the Honor Magic 6 Pro. I've been anticipating this phone for a while now, and it does not disappoint! Here's what I cover in the video:
Unboxing: Honor Magic 6 Pro, Supercharge power adapter, Honor wireless charger stand, Honor Magic 6 Pro polyurethane bracket case
First Impressions: Premium design, beautiful curved display, powerful camera system
Initial Setup: Android setup process, fingerprint and facial recognition setup
Software Update: Magic OS 8 and Magic Portal feature
Camera Test: Quick test of the 100x zoom and comparison with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
I'm really impressed with the Honor Magic 6 Pro so far.
In upcoming videos, I'll be doing a full review, more detailed camera tests, and a direct comparison with the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

From what I've seen, the Honor takes great zoom pictures especially at night but only up to 30x. It seems there was a trade off. They did this to have the largest aperture for zoom on a smartphone which helps with night time zoom as it can let in more light at 2.5x versus other focal lengths. So it becomes more usable in more scenarios up to 30x which is where most people would zoom to. Anything above is never really usable. So I understand why honor chose this route. Try taking a night zoom shot on the S24 Ultra and it can't cope whereas the honor can but limit it to 30x.

lmao. Average Dad is a joke with his comments. 450 ppi is perfectly fine. Nobody complaints about iPhone 15 Pro Max screen sharpness with the same ppi.

That's what I'm thinking! Also screen is more then ppi and camera is more than 100x zoom quality.

@@JMTMarc Exactly. It's why apple calls it a retina display because after a certain ppi the human eye can no longer see any change in sharpness or detail. I think for a phone screen it's already sharp at 330ppi or something so above that is all just extra. And on the zoom, honor chose a different route to make zoom usable in more scenarios like in low light.

I thought the honor 90 was the flagship for honor. I'm thinking of upgrading to the magic series

Honor 90 is a low-end 300 € smartphone, the Honor Magic 6 Pro is their current flagship.

Strange how the charging cable in the box is USBC to USBC, but the one with the power adapter is USBA to USBC.
