Thank you very much ... I watched the entire video and I can say that I consider you my number one source in the world of mobile phones... After seeing most of the phones in 2024, I can wait for another year without buying a new phone due to the lack of a clearly distinctive phone.. I was waiting for the Samsung Ultra 24, but unfortunately I did not like it after watching the reviews and summaries, so I will wait another year 😁

Hello from the UK. Great review, liked it a lot, balanced and straight to the point no fluff, with lots of detail. Some questions about the Honor if you have a moment: 1. Can you turn on the torch while taking photos or videos? Can the torch be used as a background light source while filming? (my Samsung S21 Ultra can't and I consider it a major issue!) 2. Does the camera support 16:9 format photos or only 3:4 like Huawei phones did? 3. Any issues. problems with notifications, delays etc? 4. How aggressive is this phone in closing up opened apps to save memory, can it hold a decent amount of apps in the RAM? 5. Based on the previous Honor Magic phones snd their update history: what are the chances to have these camera issues (bad zoom, portrait) addressed or fixed, or will the problems just persist forever? What do you think? Thank you in advance. :-)

Honor magic 4 ultimate is still the best honor up to date. The most attractive phone from my point of view. But magic 5 and 6 pro are also great ones

another excellent review i wondered how the tele lens compared with the magic 4..older p50 mate40 magic 49 are very good..a used magic 6 is $740 not a good sign the magic5 was $900 used for months..this is an excellent place as it uses the magic4 /5 pro40/50..older cameras but very very useful..great even the best channel on KZfaq

I currently have the Honor magic 6 Pro but I'm thinking about returning it and getting the xiaomi 14 Ultra or the Vivo x100 Pro Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated Keep up the good work

According to my tests for now there is no way its beating the X100 Pro. Vivo has better processing and hardware.

Finde die Neuerungen in Magic OS8 wirklich gelungen. An einigen Stellen müssen sie noch arbeiten. Woran sie allerdings am meisten arbeiten müssen ist die Geschwindigkeit der Updates. Mein magic 5 Pro wartet immer noch auf OS 8…..

I have to see. I have my doubts. First there will be a comparison with the predecessor and then Xiaomi 14 and Mate 60 Pro. At one point Vivo and Oppo but on first impression I can tell you currently nope not 1st spot. I am still waiting for the first update adding Magic Portal as this should also bring camera improvements.

@@lltechview yeah, I just had a chance to watch the video. I jumped the gun on commenting. I don't think any kind of update can fix the issues to a level that it can be #1. Really really disappointed. It would be an all-rounder if it had a camera that would be in top3. What surprised me the most is that so many reviewers praised the camera so much until I watched your video lol

That's it, this is the flagship I need to get, if my carrier still has it in August. Since you answered in another video that it has Desktop Mode, now you said it has video out, this is the phone for me. It does say Aero-Plane mode among other things reviewers noticed, but I don't care, I can't afford Galaxy S24 and I don't think it's better because 1 anti glare screen and maybe better camera I don't care about.

As long as I have more data. Screen on time is a bit deceiving as it only shows it for the day. First impressions however as I took the SIM out of my Nubia Z60 Ultra the battery life on the Magic 6 Pro is roughly the same as on the Nubia. The Nubia provides the larger battery though. But yeah expect amazing 11+ hours of SoT

First congratulation for being daddy, then thanks for this video !! i am really on the edge of buying it (their is incredible offers in france with the tab, some discount and some bonus with carrier to take back old phone). Watching pics you took and video, i ask myself if you did not took the wrong phone... and old one. I have xiaomi MI10 ( 2020 released) and i don't really see any upgrades here. It's ashamed, because this phone is really really nice... The only positive point i guess with this Honor is shooting our babies (could you confirm with your next full review of it ? it should be much better than other phone and not have any blurry) . Have you ever get surprised and really " whaou " effect with a phone recently ?

Thanks. Have to check if the falcon tech works on animals and babies. I think it is more optimized for sports. As for a phone that wowed me. Find X7 Ultra for portraits is insanely good even beating the Vivo X100 Pro that wowed me as well.

I just got the Magic 6 Pro the chinese version . Its got the chargers and phone case. Dxomark Is right again . Best in the world i have test it myself. Its like a high end Huawei phone without the high price.

Nothing at all wrong woth the s23 ultra screen you'll find it's actually better and sharper. More PPI on the s23 ultra than the honor. Nice looking phone though

Die Kamera kommt mit Standard-Einstellung auf Authentisch, sodass die Aufnahmen dunkel sind. Hier muss auf Dynamisch oder Natürlich eingestellt und die Bilder werden etwa heller dargestellt. Nachträglich können die Borken-Aufnahmen nicht mehr angepasst werden (wie bei Huawei). Ebenfalls ist sie Radier-Funktion nicht an Bord.

Habe gerade festgestellt, dass die Blende nur unter Pro manuell eingestellt werden kann. Überall sonst wird automatisch eingestellt. Ahh, und hat nur 2 Stufen. Boken-Aufnahmen sind schlecht. Huawei ist hier weit vorne. Bei Mate 50 pro z.B. kann die Optische-Blende manuell eingestellt werden. Bokeneffekt TOP.

yes,and when I'm in a quiet environment, for example at home, the volume is ok, when I'm outside, I hear almost nothing.

@@MegaKaro92 Thats weird. It should get loud enough. Maybe try resetting the phone app cache and data to see if that helps you. Also see if disabling AI privacy call might help for you. You can find it in settings of the phone app.

First impressions its true. I put my vodafone SIM card from the Nubia Z60 Ultra to the Magic 6 Pro and the battery life is almost identical despite the Magic 6 Pro having the smaller battery. Impressive work by Honor.

I see in other channel a test of the 100 zoom, and no good photo ,very blur and awful ,the photo was a mountain and u cant see anything .

I took some images from like 27,90,100 zoom and not something I would use but you can make out what I'm looking at.

Yeah right 100x is crazy. No phone does wonders here. Up to 10x I think its ok. 15x barable. Maybe you can get away with 20x on certain things. But it all depends if the object or subject you are photographing is moving or not. If not then you can get away with higher zoom levels otherwise not.

I bought one in black, 3 days of using and still must to settle on a weight. Before I used Huawei Mate 50 Pro and its some grams less. I try the cameras on these models (yes Mate 50 Pro is 2+ y.o. model). camera function is very close on both models. Huawei has quicker automatic macro mode than Honor and also its automaticaly start/ know to start on a longer distancea than Honor. I try focusing of camera lens in interior for a 5 minutes and Honor began to warm up, Huawei was still cold. But only on display I can saw differences of picture quality and details. Honor has amazing details on day light (my interior test). I like this phone and I was choose it due, that is a same software enviroment as Huawei and I'm used to his gestures, thanks to which the phone is quickly controlled. For me now after 3 days only minus are weight and no adaptor in packaging. Honor support 88W charging power, but in my country the original adaptor from Honor is support "only" 66W, but for 5000mAh battery I think is small.

It has a few minuses: 1) Really slow software support; 2) Zoom camera it's really trash, photos over 10x are really bad compared to s23 ultra which had usable photos even at 30x; 3) Video quality it's really bad due to EIS instead of OIS and this is a bad thing that it's persistent for more than 3 year

I think Honor is working on the slow software support. And with bumping up the support for this phone there is nothing you can go wrong about. 2. I still have to finally evaluate this one. But yeah long zooms seem to suffer with this one.

@@lltechview about 1 they said that they're working to fix this but instead, honor magic 5 pro still doesn't have final stable android 14, only beta... But yeah, overall, it's a good alternative to s23 ultra/s24 ultra if you don't care about zoom/eis :)

Everything is nice except the software. It's their only weakness. If they work harder on software they will take big share of the market!!

I think they are investing a lot in the software. I hope they can improve a bit more still. Fix some bugs and improve the camera processing a bit more.

Ich habe auch die Globale Version. Für 999€ konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Das Update hatte 1,3GB. Mit dabei das Sicherheitspatch 02/24. Bis jetzt bin ganz zufrieden. Ich finde aber, dass der Akku beim X100 Pro besser ist. Bei den Kameras wird es kompliziert. Der Zoom ist bei Vivo besser. Keine Frage. Bei der Hauptkamera ist es mal so, mal so. Und UWW ist gleich gut. Die Front-Kamera beim Honor ist aber um Klassen besser. Viel schärfer. Bin auf Deinen Vergleich gespannt.

Schönes Unboxing. Auch wenn ich ein wenig enttäuscht bin. Außer einem dürren Kabel war nix weiter dazu. Aber bei den Lautsprechern, fand ich, haben sie was ordentliches verbaut. Es müssen ja nicht die lautesten sein, aber gut klingen.

Die Lautsprecher sind mit das Beste was ich bisher gehört habe. Auch das Display ist eines der Besten. Eigentlich ein No Brainer. Es gibt wenig zu meckern.

@@lltechview i am not sure but i think it's related to some new rules by european commission. I don't know how, but the EU rules is now a single charger USB C for all devices. I think now brand use this as a tool not to provide any charger for devices sold on european territory " Under the Commission's proposal, a USB-C connector will become the standard port for all smartphones, tablets, cameras, headphones, portable speakers and handheld video game consoles. Chargers will also be sold separately from electronic devices."

From what I seen camera quality is bad specially on zoom like cartoon looks even from 10x that's bad Maybe good display speaker storage ir scanner battery fast charging but... Camera and software updates is bad and not acceptable..!

That the magic portal is not available in the global version yet. They should have it available at launch. Ill wait it out as per your advice, and see what software updates they will provide for global

@@jamescao4128 Ah this, I got the update now that improves the camera and brings the Magic Portal as well. So if you get your Magic 6 Pro the first update should give you that as well.

Camera comparing vivo, oppo or even samsung looks really average, definitely not a flagship quality. Color science is really wierd, alyways yellowish color cast.

Yeah first impression is high contrast and warm look. Not always bad but definitely not the top

Watch ASBYT review of this as well as Xeetech etc and their reviews of this camera is all great. The main and wide especially better than Vivo and Oppo in many scenarios.

@@lltechview It's based off comparisons I've seen. In one the normal and wide were way better than the Find X7 Ultra. On the one where they compared it to the Vivo, it was trading blows with the honor being better in quite a lot of the photos. Perhaps watch those? The reviews on the Honor are very mixed though.

@@SDav21Watched already 15 different reviews, all show same problems, yellow color cast, oversharpening, wrong red colours, totally random quality in portrait mode, worse optics than competitors. Had huge hopes on this phone, because it is the only chinese phone available in my country.

How is it any different to the Korean and American spy devices then if that's what you believe? It's people like you that affect the consumer because everything that isn't American or a Samsung is a spy device. Yall are exhausting. At the end of the day we have less choices because of a bigoted America that bans companies like Huawei because they can't compete. It has nothing to do with security.
