A glimpse into how climate change is affecting the Fort McDermitt Paiute Shoshone Tribes in southern Idaho. The video highlights some of the key challenges facing the community and how they are working to engage the youth in the process of building climate resilience.
Video was completed as part of an Upper Snake River Tries Foundation (uppersnakerivertribes.org/) climate change adaptation planning project and generously funded by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. The adaptation project was led by Adaptation International (www.adaptationinternational.com) with video footage collected and compiled by The Bridge Studio. Final editing was completed by Positive Impact.

Thank you so much for making this! I found it really informative; it’s so sad how much knowledge has been lost or disregarded in the face of our current system :(

The tortoise and the hare is still there. That was one of the landmarks I always looked forward to seeing when we would travel up into the desert. Maybe one I'll go home and take a drive up there to all the places we used to go to. Be nice to see how much things have changed.
