You're right its inaccurate because 1- The germans fought polish army and remmember that poland is under british hands so why they not wearing british uniform 2- There is no country such as Elytad and Germania was a name from Germany they created the name Germania when the Soviets are rushing towards Berlin the reichstag building was complete they named it Germania 3- The Elystad flag is more likely french so there flag is from France 4- The polish army regain strength when the uprising of Warsaw began and they don't hide soldiers in the forest 5- The first plane from the Graft Zeppelin has a shark face so it reccemble of somekind British or American plane and lasty there is no such thing as flying Ptrs-rifle was never produce until 1941 and it was madded in Soviet or britain

I do appreciate how the maker left out any of the magic moments (Ice spears aside) to make it about the bravery of soldiers and the chaos of war. My Great-Grandfather on my fathers side fought for Kaiser and Fatherland during the First World War and my Great-Grandfather on my mothers fought for King and Empire during the same. This song and video remind me of stories I have read from their diaries.

The French did not help Poland which defended itself longer than France with a smaller army with a Soviet knife in its back. France, which had a booming armies and a Soviet soviet knife in Plecah, fell after two weeks when the Polish defended itself for a month. The French lied to the Poles, insisting that they would attack and nobody would consider it.

Also we had worst than commies in our back : we had commies in our own government. Beyond that it's true that we failed deeply. Still, I hope we won't have to wage war again to cleanse our honor, as all european nations now share friendly relationships.

It's Elystadt, a fictional alpine kingdom. French looking material, Swiss and austrian inspired strategies and tactics.

Like most minor or weaker European powers (Greece, Finland, Belgium, Norway, etc.) in the interwar period, Elystadt seems to have equipped itself with late 1910s-mid1920s French weapons, tanks, and uniforms. The scenes of Elystadt's defense were not dissimilar to the French and Polish, who had not really upgraded their military or infrastructure to make a solid defense possible (like the Elystatian artillery, the French often relied on runners and telegraphs instead of quicker radios). If you look at the map of "Europe" in the show, Elystadt appears to occupy what is now Liechtenstein and the Austrian panhandle, a region known as the Austrian Tyrol (another Sabaton song, The Last Battle, takes place at Castle Itter, an Austrian schloss in the Tyrol)

A really good AMV. It has been some time, since I have watched this Anime, it surely had one, if not the coolest german weapons and fights displayed in a great way. Unfortunatly, if I remember right, the story of the Anime wasn't that good, even if it had much potential. If someon would create an Anime which adapts all good parts of Youjo Senki and Izetta, this would become a masterpice. And since most of this kind of Anime is just fiction with more or less historical accurate inspiration, it would be a nice thing to finally have an Anime with a cool Germany, that wins the war. (Even if they are evil). But I think this will always just be a dream and no Anime... So, now I havn't sayed much to this Video here, but this where the thoughts I got while watching this great AMV, and I just had to comment it.

lmao if you look up Mercedes-Benz on Wikipedia and skip to their history tab, it'll say See also: List of companies involved in the Holocaust. Apparently, they were employing over 60,000 concentration camp prisoners as forced laborers in their factories while they made engines for Bf 109s (German companies were largely acquitted of war crimes. Mercedes-Benz later paid out $12 million in reparations to their forced laborers and/or their families) There's also a tv commercial for either M-B, Volkswagen, BMW, or Porsche where they go through their history, starting in the 1920s and 30s, completely skip over the 40s and go right to the 50s

What I like the fact that the 'French' people in this Anime is actually trying their best to fight the 'Nazi Germany' and if we ignore the magic and witches, it is what we got like this AMV, brave men and even women (At the camp helping soldiers) are doing all they can to survive the invasion, despite being actually pummeled due to their outdated weapons

Man, they're heavily inspired from the french, look at their helmets. The fact is that, in 1940 the Werhmacht is as ready for war as the French army, the offensive of the Ardennes could be describe this way, a solid point of steel on a rotten handle. The french were took by surprise, so they couldn't break the handle, but for Germany it was, above all else, a matter of luck.

Poles had mostly French WW1 equipment (hence the German steamroll) They never got time or money to modernize their military and couldn't do much. This video gives the Poles a lot more than they had cause irl, the poles probably had worse tanks, had horses against panzers, didn't have effective radio communication and I doubt had any mountain bunkers that the Germans actually attacked (The germans legit went around all the bunkers and fortifications, cut off their supplies, and starved them out, quite efficient)

In 1918 - yes, Poland had a lot of french equipment because general Haller's Blue Army came from French, but I don ' t agree about tanks - Poland had mostly french Ft17 -the best tanks in 1918. And In 1939 Poland had very good equipment, one of the best in whole world. Polish tanks 7tp was good like german tanks, We had anti -panzer carabine Ur, and it can destroy every tanks in 1939,also we had bombers Łoś, small but strong fleet(polish destroyers was the biggest ) and a lot of another weapons. If war started in 1942 polish modernization will be end. Polish started building more than 300 military factors but in 1939 couldn' t use it yet. In 1942 polish will have 28tp-tank like Tiger ;Wolf, Falcon and another figther planes
