I completely agree. I used to watch this movie with my niece at least a hundred times or more when she was a toddler. She could barely speak full sentences but she knew how to pick up a ball, toss it to my dad and say "PLAY!" And then when he would start chasing her around the room she would say "You're doing it Peter, you're using you're imagination." 😂

I just balled like a baby. I think this finally allowed me to grieve for Robin Williams. He was a MASSIVE part of my childhood. Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin..... I OWNED those movies, and as kids in the 90's, we only had a few movies, that's how it was for everyone. R.I.P man. I will miss you to the day I die.

How is it that Dante's voice hasn't changed one bit? From Rufio to Zuko to Jake Long up to the present, his voice is still the same.

Hook was always my favorite movie as a kid. Made me want to become a Lost Boy even though I wasn't a boy. I always fantasized I was in that version of Neverland when I'd play Peter Pan as a child not the Disney's version. Rufio was first crush too when I first saw Hook. I gasped when Hook stabbed him and cried when he says "Do you know what I wish? I wish I had a dad like you." I didn't have a dad in my up bringing for while so when he said that it got to me. Especially since I saw Robin Williams as a father figure and as Rufio was dying he saw him as a father figure too. Hook also was the second Robin William's film I saw as a kid and I loved him in it. As an adult now when I watch it it's even more emotional seeing Robin and especially at the end when he says "To live will be in awfully big adventure. " R.I.P Robin

Lets admit it, we are all lost boys. We grew up in a time where kids were the focus of everything. Nickelodeon and Disney were our gospel, and we were allowed to have fun and be ourselves. I dont think you can ever out grow that, probably why our generation has the biggest nostalgia feelings.

Another Great Day In History folks by far one of the best popular movies of the 90s with every popular actor in it back then like Robin Williams Julia Roberts Dennis Hoffman and many more like him playing the best captain hook ever and vice versa with Pam and Legendary MrFunny Robin Williams who dominated the best Disney and Comedy movies like Mrs Doubtfire and Jumanji and many more masterpieces like these that still got it in 2022. Even as a adult I can still watch a movie 😂 like hook again over and over and still never gets old unlike most movies today are either remakes of these legendary masterpieces or trilogies that should be left alone and let the kids get that magic like we did so when there older they only understand it alot better like we do now as a adult every time we watch it now which makes it much much more interesting and better as adults perspective. It Just shows us how much has changed on my view of things is absolutely amazing and thanks to reactions now on movies and music on KZfaq giving these legendary times and actors like Jaws the credit they deserve from 84 into the 90s which caused the Golden Age to happen the way it did wether it was John Candy Era Comedy and Family Movies like Planes Trains and Automobiles to Chevy Chases Vacation Movie Franchise or John McLain and Hanz Rubben tearing it up in the Die Hard Series with every other actors known to man like even Carl Winslow from Family Matters showing up in same shows to Movie Classics we love today that are rebirthed again in reactions on KZfaq passing the magical torch to the next generation to love it and cherish it forever like we do today. Definitely for both and always 5 classics out of every year that are the biggest franchises in the world now because of this magical time of pure masterpiece perfections that were born back then and still give the newer generation now the same golden rare gem effect like I had growing up with the best of the best in those legendary times when there was so many mega super stars all competing at once making it the greatest time ever to be alive for the best entertainment world of are lifetimes and started it all and we got the best of the best worlds and eras all combined in one for everything and yes disney is a perfect example of that in a nutshell even the animated had purpose and meaning back then and you can still watch them now over and over again and they never get old true masterpieces of writing great storylines that finish correctly and they always set you up perfectly for the next or if they have sequels or don't they still ended with you remembering them forever and feeling satisfied till this day. Because they don't need to be remade leave that magic history alone and let the next generation get that same experience you got to growing up in the golden age of everything on the incline not decline. Also let's not forget what else was so important then was with the most phenomenal theme music for every movie tv show that you still remember today from the best middle eighties ones like ThunderCats Ateam and GIJoe all the way to Cheers we're everybody knows your name and humming to Bill Cosby dancing to the jazz and TGIF on those wonderful looking forward to Friday nights cliffhanger series and can't wait for the conclusion next Friday night. It didn't mater if it was Perfect Strangers Family Matters Full House or even Step by Step the writing and storylines we're so good they would even connect the shows together in a way with the actors showing up in all the series working the problems out together which is unheard of today unfortunately a truly lost masterpiece of writing cliffhangers with meaning and conclusions. That's becauseIt didnt matter what kind of show back then writing and storytelling we're the best of the best wether it was the best sitcoms of all time like Seinfeld where you could binge laugh your way through a whole entire 8 seasons to the end with those beloved characters we all grew up Like my favorite series of all time the had the best writing of all time and no mater how many times I watch it wether it's on youtube now with reactions with everyone or just plain regular show binge watch again you can always either learn something new that you missed before especially with reactions now which is like a new start to it again because it's there first time watching the greatest television series masterpiece of all time with you showing or catching a new perspective on the story characters that you didn't catch last time you watched it and it made way more sense this time from another person's view makes you wanting more and more that we still can still either hum sing or remember word for word till the day you die. The bottom line is wether it's Disney or Classics like Newsies Hook and Lion 👑 King or even Sword and the Stone, and the great Robin Hood or flying and disappearing like Pete's Dragon or flying on the famous Bed Noms and Brooms Sticks or marching those streets with songs like Marry Poppins did the bottom line is simple folks it will never be like that magical time again. unfortunately in this day in age when nothing makes sense anymore and you can't sit through most shows or movies now all the way through without going back to watching the golden age stuff over again to be fulfilled and satisfied like it always does unlike anything before

Only two lost boys are missing Jasen Fisher who played Ace and Alex Zuckerman who played Latchboy. though Fisher was at the reunion briefly at the beginning you can see in the recreation shot. Hopefully next year we will get the whole lost boy crew for Hook's 30th Anniversary.

Jasen had to leave early but he was there. Sadly, Alex did not want to participate. But everyone had a blast!

It some ways it was convenient that Alex was the only lost boy who did not attend the reunion since is it was easy to cut him out of the recreation shot. If it had been any other of the lost boys the recreation shot would have been more difficult to do. because it would have been harder to cut any of the other guys out of the photo.

Watch them for the memory of Robin Williams. I sure as hell do, I honor Robin Williams by enjoying and watching these wonderful movies. Also introducing these movies to new generations of kids. Because they actually watch to people I introduced the films too. Gotta build the hype and such

I cried watching the OG Aladdin with my son, who is 5. I just couldn't get thru it after hearing his voice & the line about wanting so bad to be free. It was too much.

To be honest the more of Robin I watch the more it becomes sad and clear. In my opinion he had an identity crisis. So with the many great roles and powerful messages he portrayed, he just lost himself in translation. Something that great actors like Tom hanks, Bradd Pitt etc. can fall victim to. In the end I don’t think his mindset could take all the influence he was getting opposed to who he thought he was as a person. I’m just blowing smoke up my ass but I really think he was a depressed person but strived to uplift people in the same boat. In the end he gave in, but for someone like me he really gave me hope. That’s what I think anyway. And that’s what I’ll continue to believe. “It’s not your fault”

When Robin Williams passed, I decided to finally watch 'Dead Poets Society' ánd 'What Dreams May Come', both movies starring Robin with the subject of suicide heavily printed into it (especially into the second one, with the character of Robin actually physically visiting heaven and hell). It was tough to watch, but I enjoyed both movies back to back. Tears to my eyes, bawling out completely, I experienced it all, but I'm glad I did. Love those movies.

I had this movie for a long time recorded onto VHS from tv with some of the adds that were also accidentally recorded. An old fav for sure. My favourite part is the lost boys dinner feast and Peter steps to Rufio!
