I can remember growing up in the 60’s & 70’s my uncles on the farm had a pull behind “road” grader that was probably from the 40’s or 50’s. One uncle driving the tractor and the other riding on the grader at the blade control’s. Those were the days!

Oh yeah, every township had one. Some of the biggest township scandals revolved around who was using the grader for their driveway.

We had one on our farm as well. Dad later took the blade off and made a 3 pt. hitch for it to mount it directly to the tractor.

Chet a fun fact for you. Hwy 12 and 7 have railway tracks next to them. Back in the day the first steam engines could go 7-9 miles before needing water so that is how many towns were established.

Chet, if you want desolate. Come to Australia, you can be hours between towns that are open. Never rely on Google maps for driving, it's horrible with it's alternate routes down some back roads.

Chet in Dougo's defense, you wreck something that isn't yours you own up to it, enough said. You NEVER let it go when Dougo did that nice hole he put into that nice patched area now. Like he said he is STILL waiting for someone to fess up. That is going to bug him until that gets patched as well or a new sheet of aluminum. Dont screw with the new building i heard him. I have a 1400RS for 4 years and use it a lot. It has held up really good. You can move alot of dirt in a short amount of time. I pull it with my mt755 or 65c. I have also moved snow with it a couple times. Dougo is going to have to use a tractor with 5 remotes!

That's one AMAZING boxblade to maintain a 300 yard Driveway....Who is over compensating now??? Dont worry Dougo, I understand, do what you must. I certainly do!!!!!

Thanks for another great video Chet and Dougo. It was most interesting and enjoyable. Wow. Fun going on the road with Dougo and Chet. You two are a blast on the road together. What fun you have. Road trips are really enjoyable with you two. Love that blade you got for doing drive ways and such. Really a nice one you got Dougo. Should do a real good job on the driveway. Like the hydraulic blades on the unit and the long tongue and side accessory blades. Neat machine. It is built tough by a good old manufacturing shop in a small town. They are the best. Good people. Grandpa will be looking this one over. You can bet on that. That was a great couple of welders in that shop. They knew how to weld. Thanks for taking us along. Super trip. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

old boss I had one single backhoe to move all the snow on the farm. We hooked a 8360R on to one of these blades the snow and dirt you can move is incredible. Can shape a hell of a water way.
