ive had a hoopa on the enemy team hitting zapdos with hyperspace. his whole team got teleported back right before the last hit. easiest zapdos steal ever.

I think this is definitely the best build overall, but I was duo queuing with a friend yesterday running trick/shadow ball with same items and getting 80-90k damage aswell. Either way you go this character is super good and extremely fun to play

I’ve been having really bad experience with Hoopa players in rank. Majority are lost and not knowing what or when to use Hoopa’s abilities. In a character where timing is everything, not doing this is really frustrating for the team and you end up with the need of carry hard. New Pokémon’s should not be available in rank matches for at the very least 1 week of standard matches only, let the people understand, have fun with the Pokémon and not cause much pain to rank players

Beautiful play! Personally I've found trick and shadow ball to be more successful in solo q since getting teammates to use the portals is hard. But I enjoyed this a lot, ty!

I’ve been running Muscle Band, Score Shield, and Special Attack specs. So far I’ve been enjoying this stacking build since Trick works so nicely with score shield, stacks with the shield Trick gives, and is based off special attack. I haven’t had the chance to use hyper space hole yet, but the burst from trick shadow ball is so fun. Also congrats on your 100K subs! Also that escape from the Absol Ult was so clean!

Great video. Im basically a nasty attacker with the same items youre using, but I always pick Shadow Ball+Trick for max damage

this is the build i've been running, I can't seem to get either of the teleports to work but I think in co-ordination with a Slowbro or Tsareena you could really sustain them as a supporter

Also I feel like the creaters are moving toward a more advanced game style of play based on the last 2 releases. Agislash and hoopa

I go with trick/shadow ball when all my teammates are beginners, great, or even experts and use HSH/shadow ball only when my teammates are veteran up (for reference i quit ranked after hitting 1500 and just play casual now so i play with all elo) This has proven to be pretty successful as all the vet up players seem to have figured out how the portals work

OMG, just finished Hoopa's Unite license this afternoon. I can't wait to jump on later.

One thing about phantom force. Not as much damage but, can stop scores with its knock back like snorelax barrier regardless of score shield and can be used like volt switch for combat

You know at first I definitely thought that Hyperspace Hold would be awful in solo q. But it's unite move effectively allows terrible solo queue players who try and go for the back door sneak instead of showing up to Zap to actually do both

This is the same build I use, but my teammates are simply too incompetent to use my goalzone portals.

I am yet to join a team that knows how to use my portals. Solo queues rough.

This is what I’ve used on Hoopa. Debating taking of Barrier because a lot of the time I find myself uniting at zap fight to port team over so I don’t give anyone a barrier most times.

I think phantom force with trick and the build of energy amplifier, muscle band, buddy barrier gotta say that build is pretty gooe

My build is shadow ball/trick with choice specs, wise glasses and shell bell. I've been able to single guard a lane from up to 3 opponents.

My second match with hoopa was really great I did 110k damage with hyperspace hole and phantom force

I dont mind choice spec in the build but I really prefer focus band .. she is really squishy for a supporter and can be dived easily and the sustain can get you thru close situations when you just need 0.5 sec to teleport

I use Specs, Buddy Barrier and Energy Amplifier. Sooooo much dmg. But, I feel like Muscle Band or Focus Band over Specs could work better in some situations. I also definitely prefer Trick+Shadow Ball.

Why require HH to pair with Shadow Ball for the proc when your boosted auto does it anyway? For the record, I do think that those two moves are just the best in general on Hoopa, but that particular pairing isn't required for the Shadow Ball stun.

I know this must be late or someone has already found this very hidden mechanic on Hoopa so sorry in advance if i stole someones idea, but i just discovered that hyperspace hole and phantom force gives you 2 recalls so not only do you get to recall after using hyperspace hole if you use hyperspace hole before you get teleported back to base hit something with the phantom force because its a sure hit skill, and stand on the hyper hole so when you get back you recover health and press phantom force again to teleport yourself back to where you were a minute ago. the recall back is faster than the recall button for hyper hole. @Spragels please do a video on this, Hoopa is EVEN more broken than i thought XD, Also congrats on reaching 100k you deserve it!

I normaly use trick and shadow ball because i feel its a bit more suitable for my playstyle but still hoopa is amazing

Ngl, I was grinding up to get Hoopa, and I missed a day, when I finally got to 50, I saw that UNITE gave 200 of the Ingredients through the mailbox. I'm mad because I did all that myself, and there was 10 Donuts for free that would've helped. DX

The most stupid thing happened to me today. While battling for zapdos, I am about to knock out zapdos when my hoopa teammate sent me to base. Wth, I dont know if Im gonna laugh or cry. Obviously the enemy got zapdos and we lost

I have a question. Is how much better is Hyperspace Hole than Trick? I know that Shadow Ball is better than Phantom Force, but Trick feels like a viable option too. (Even though it doesn't provide the mobility Hyperspace Hole does)

Imo shadow Ball and trick is the strongest for me at least.. I use buddy, focus and muscle and still did almost 120k damage in rank.

I like trick more but i think thats becouse im more of solo player And its hard for me to use hole in the best moment

Shadow Ball is my favorite build too, although I prefer Trick. I also like to also run Energy Amp instead of Barrier or sometimes instead of Specs. I can see why Barrier might be more valuable than Specs, but sometimes I'm in a position to Unite teleport the team somewhere, but I'm not in the best position to give someone else a shield cause there's no one nearby. That's why I've mostly stuck to Amp and Specs. Muscle Band is a no brainer with Trick and the autos from the ult. Love this build so much, but I'm concerned Hole's utility will just make it too necessary

No Focus Band? It can be the difference staying alive long enough to teleport back home or being killed just before. Would pick it over Choice Specs tbh, but that’s just me.

If ban-mode comes to pokemon unite, Hoopa will always be banned. The ability to contest every objective is insane, not to mention the unite move is a walking instant 5-man gank.

I have started hating this game. If you want to play this game find a good team first. This game is not meant to be played solo. Even bots can play better than some randoms. Super Mario is far better game than this shit. I have played thousands of matches but got good team in only around 10% of the matches. I won most of the games by god's grace🙂
