Either Doncic or Irving can generate their shots, assist others, and put role players into play for easy shots. This is why they are so deadly. They can rest and the other will take over and when both are on the court, both are options to each other.

Addign the fact Kyrie becomes a monster when Doncic is given time to breathe, man this team is tough to defend with that tall rookie, and the team. MAVS should aim higher in these playoffs. I think we have to agree, Edwards can't remove a 3-0 lead in the hands of Doncic & Kyrie. It is hard.

They haven't been cooked. They have lost, yes, but it could be now 2-1 for Dallas or even 2-1 for Wolves. Luka and Kyrie have been putting crazy numbers and have been extremely clutch, that's for sure. But everybody, even a few biased pundits, knew that. Luka is a top 5 and Kyrie is a top 20 player in the entire NBA. Give this Wolves team 1 more year and the sky is the limit, they play incredibly well.

Yea IF the Wolves team was more experienced, proven, clutch, or if the mavs were less clutch, the series could be even 3-0 Wolf. But if we step back from head fantasy land, in the real world Mavs are too tough and clutch for this team with a young future superstar. EDit> forgot to say before: Wolves are definitively getting cooked in the clutch. 0/7 vs 4/4 after the last time it was tied, at 104-104

anybody who compares ANT with Michael Jordan at this point in time should be ASHAMED. ANT is already in his 4th NBA season - Michael Jordan in his 4th season was Defensive Player of the Year and MVP at the same time (1987/88 season). The thing is, ANT never asked for those comparisons. The kid simply played his way within the team's scheme. A passionate kid. Speak things as it is....that is his personality. Yet, people like Stephen A. Smith tells the world that the kid is the next face of the league. Telling the kid that he riminds him of both MJ & Kobe. However, they failed to tell him the truth. That there are growing pains you have to go through kid. You have to want it like how your body needs oxygen. Then go back in the lab and work on your weaknesses. Improve your basketball IQ. Reinforce your strengths. Understand that the game has many compartments you need to know. It ain't about just your athleticism. It's seeing the floor like a chess board. This is absolutely incredible. This Minnesota team have given us top finals performance every time in this series. They are amazing and Dallas OMG super star performance and always at the last 2 minutes or less the game gets decided. Huge credits to all players involved. Offcourse the two superstars from mavericks didn't come short which would be normal and still incredible for any result. I'm amazed with this series.

I knew Mavs would be dangerous offensively but I'm surprised how good they are at the defensive end. It has to be demoralizing for the Wolves. They really gave it their all but came up short once again. You can't afford to blink in this series and the Wolves made some bad plays down the stretch.

People still underestimating the Gafford trade. Before the trade Mavericks were not that good, especially in the western conference. Sure, Luka and Kyrie were good but the Mavs as a team were not. Gafford and P.J. changed the dynamic of the team.

The Mavericks still chose not to significantly increase his minutes despite Lively's injury. They are a tandem and can go all out precisely because they split the 48 minutes of play at center almost exactly by half. If Lively is out for significant time that's a huge loss for the Dallas, and for Gafford himself since he will have to play more minutes and decrease his effort output to remain moderatly effective, and the team will suffer in the minutes when they don't have a real rim protecting center out there.

Watch the video from 8:34 to Mavs last basket from the field at 9:24. Mavs scored with PJ, Luka and Kyre, then with Gafford dunk from a lob. Meanwhile, no Wolves basket. Whats not shown in highlights, is that those were all the shots that Mavs took in that period, there were no misses, and that wolves shot 7 times. So in the clutch, Mavs went 4/4 and Wolves 0/7 from the field. Thats how a better team beats an underdog. Same thing in Celtics vs Idiana the day before, and in the other 2 Mavs vs Wolves games. Or you can go on thinking "the game could have gone either way".
