I agree. Definitely keep the Countach It's not my favorite year, with all the body cladding, but beneath all that, it's still a freaking Countach! Gotta be some way to make the seat lower to accommodate the Hoovster. Maybe just remove the bottom of the seat, lol.

Actually oils now have conditioners in them to help the gaskets, engineering explained has a really good video.

@@nusudahwdo3181 Unless the oil is completely baked, that's the real damage old oil does to an engine....it will harden the seals. Fresh oil has rubber conditioners to keep the seals soft.

There is a good reason why they use the Rotella T4.

I can't believe he doesn't even do his own oil changes. "Car guy channel". With his garage he has the space and the height that he could have put a lift. Hell, he can probably do oil changes from his multicar lift. He could save himself so much money if he would just do some of his own work. Could still make videos of it and it would probably be funny too. Why pay $300 for an oil change when you could do it yourself for probably under $100?

I'm not sure what you are referring to about the brakes? All 240s had 4 wheel disc brakes, and those look pretty stock from the few sweeps past and looking at it (and having owned over a dozen 240s personally) - brakes are not something Volvo ever really skimped on... but I do agree I'd like more info on it...

I mean other than a huge, probably hard to find oil filter and the sheer quantity, it looks like this was pretty easy from a labor perspective and it takes commonly available looks like diesel oil to me. It's probably not that bad on these compared to other supercars.

I know right? Oil is actually the least expensive and easiest way to increase the longevity of your vehicle. I bought into the ford 5.4L before I knew about the 100 issues with the engine and most of those issues are due to oil. The OEM spec on oil changes guarantees major issues down the road. If you change it every 3000 miles, you'll avoid a ton of those issues, from new. If you bought a new one, and did the oil changes by the OEM specs, you've damaged the engine. I had a new one, went in and asked for an oil change at 3000 miles and at 34,000 miles, asked them to do a complete "tune up" plugs, fuel filter, etc...they gave me a hard time "doesn't need any of that" and then I learned: if you wait to when Ford says change the plugs, they'll be seized in the engine and break off. If you don't change the oil at 3000 miles, you'll cause permanent damage to the passenger side cam phaser, cam followers, and bearings (since there is a single oil passage, the oil is hot and dirty by the time it gets to the passenger cam phaser/chain/guides).

I instantly thought of Tyler when he bought it. It seems like he over payed for that Cadillac in my opinion

You can get a giant filter for your regular car also ask for a wix fleet filter for your car there twice as big as stock and work much better than stock filter

Have you seen a VW D24 filter. It's massive.
