Bob is correct, the Cavalier Z24 was a quick car for it's time period. I had a new 1987 Trans Am with a 5.0 TPI engine in it and my buddy had a rental Cavalier Z24. We where on the highway and raced the two cars and the Z24 walking away from my Trans Am in every run we did, both cars were automatics.

Hoovie! I love the channel. I have a 2003 Town Car with 120K miles, it has been sitting for the last 3 years, has electrical problems and has 4 flat tires. That EXP! I had the Mercury version, LN7, back in '82. It was a really fun car and I put 140K miles on it with the only repair being a voltage regulator. Was one of my favorite cars ever!

Different from you, I mostly hassle with motorcycles, they are cheaper, more fun and I can fit a lot of them to my small garage.

This car truly takes me back to my childhood, my mom was A pilot driver in the 90’s and these were her go to cars. All of them were the forest green or maroon, ik this video is old but man I just went back 25 years.

I had a Rampage. The first motor in it melted down, but when I got it with the 2nd engine, if you started it, put it in drive, and didn't hit the gas, it would accelerate to 35 mph. The rear axle in those are basically a trailer axle.

Love seeing the cavalier. I was never into them but its nice to see such a pretty basic car in someone's garage not a few thousand dollar high end car. My heart belongs to the 96-98 grand am. I'm also very fond of the early 90s grand prixs.

I recently purchased a commercial building that I am about to start remodeling to be my "showroom." Here recently I received a letter from the WV DMV telling me that I bought and sold too many cars last year and if I do it again they will fine me if I don't get a dealers license. Oh well, I guess I have no choice then. I am going to go ahead and get a dealers license, lol. I am sure having access to the auctions will help curb my buying habits. First i sold my perfectly fine v8 magnum for a 1988 MR2 sc'd, that was supposed to be it... didn't run for too long... so i bought a 91 century painted green with purple flames on the front end of the car.. the buick had ac, and heat, 91 k miles looked like a heap but held a dear place in my heart, and then i sold it. I was in the market for a specific imported van, but i looked and didn't find the one to my spec, so i bought a nissan skyline. All under a 2 year span... i had to stop myself from buying a saturn ion with 20 thousand miles at the auction the other day. God bless ya man.

Hoovie, that's a Oldsmobile 350 diesel. The last year of this engine, was OKAY. A much better G.M. Diesel engine, is the 6.5 liter diesel engine, out of a 1990s Chevy pickup. Same weight as the Cadillac big block.
