The irony of owning a supercar that you can't afford to drive to its full potential. That's why my dream car is not a supercar. Instead of prioritizing performance, I prioritize comfort. My $7000 Citroen C5 has the Hydractive 3 self-levelling hydraulic suspension, superior to anything found in a Mercedes or McLaren, but sorry Hoovie you can't buy one in North America. There is even a plate under the hood in my car which states this funnily enough. Move to Australia, Hoovie. Then you can buy a mid-size 5-seater car like mine that rides AND corners better than any land yacht and gets 50 mpg on the highway.

Yes, german cars do have flaws, so do other brands too. And most of the cars are reliable for 200.000km and more. Scotty Kilmer is also a guy, that refuses to learn new stuff. I mean, new car's are also cars. More cables and stuff, but at the bare they work the same. Have 4 wheels, engine, tranny and so on. Also the ability of the car to tell you "Dang, somethings wrong in there" is a good thing. Because then you are able to look more specific. What my MG B-GT taught me years ago... Brittish cars are all about maintenance. If you like working on your car, an MG is right for you. If you want someone else to work on the car... Get a McLaren. If you like a more modern car that is sorta Brittish and reliable, buy a new hatchback Civic which was made in the UK.

If I'm not mistaken, the car's GPS knows when it's in a track and it enables track mode. Also the techs probably can see the story of acceleration and braking in the car's telemetry and would likely deduce if it has visited a track.

It’s because the last 2 times he’s tracked cars they’ve blown up.

They could probably even tell which track it is based on a data! Excluding the GPS of course Just a speculation
