Yup, Gotta say that the final fight with Hate, Chara and Asriel really was well choreographed considering they didn't have a plan. Still, l many still shots mid-battle were excellent and Asriel's "But it refused" moment was great. Loved the symbolic use of the exact same location Frisk and Betty fought, too.

I like how Hate develops slowly. Hands, legs, body, 'soul', hands on arms, irises, blood, weapons, until finally figuring out love right at the end with the sacrifice.

27:14. Wow. This part is pretty interesting. Because if we estimate that this _thing_ 's height is around 170cm, we can calculate the distance between the Asriel and the ground (36,85meters). Thanks to the trail that the hate substance left we can build an imaginary triangle and calculate the angles for every side(we took point A as the Asriel's position, point B as the ground, and point C as the place that _thing_ jumped from): CAB=65° ABC=90° BCA=25° We know the angles, and now can calculate the length for the _b_ (line b is [BC], line a is [AB], and the line c is [CA]): sin(25°)/a=sin(65°)/b b=a*sin(65°)/sin(25°) b=79,02m Now we are calculating the length of a hypotenuse: c=√(a²+b²) c=87,2meters Considering that the frame rate of an animation is 8 fps (tell me if i am wrong), that _thing_ jumped from point C to point A in 1/8 of a second: 87,2m : 0,125s² ≈ 5600m/s²(acceleration) Now if we take that _thing_ 's weight as 68 kg(average), we can calculate the force applied to the Asriel's hands. F=m(mass) x a(acceleration) F=380800 Newtons(omg) 380800 Newtons is like a car at the speed of 100MPH crashes into a brick wall. And all that force is applied on the tiny area (82cm² is an average surface area of the palms) of the Asriel's palms, this pressure is equal to the 46,439 MPa or 458 times the atmospheric pressure. I am glad someone else pointed this out. A determination soul has been confirmed to be a perfect balance of all 6 soul traits, and since that's what Asriel has, he basically has a determination soul. Asriel not dying is not "plot armor", "but it refused" is perfectly canon and I am glad someone else said it.

I was wondering the entire time if Frisk would make a comeback, nope, truly and well erased. That was excellent, and if you simply ended the series right here, I would t have questioned it. Fantastic animation, plot, and music. The direction was flawless and the hard work paid off. Can't wait for the prequel.

This show was a massive part of my childhood and was a huge influence on my creativity. The writing was even better than I remembered and the emotional beats are on point. Keep being awesome Camila. Now if you excuse me I'm gonna go cry myself to sleep because I binge watched the entire second season without pause and now it's 11:30.

Got hell lotta goosebumps on that "But it refused" part by Asriel. This was worth over a years wait. From Gaster hitting the Polychromatism to this. I'm pretty sure we also haven't seen this Asriel since S1. How much progress Cami has done is outstanding. The fight with Hate and Chara & Asriel takes me back to S1's finale. I love it and will wait till the end of the series.

Over the course of 5 years, we got a full length film (maybe even 2 if you split it and start the second with the prequel) in 9 parts, animated by one person, with a better story than lots of mainstream movies. I have nothing but respect, Cami.

honestly rewatching all of camelia cuevas work was worth it and i love the progress, I've always been a fan of her work and seeing this today just makes me feel emotional and it brought back so many good memories, it's a great show and I enjoyed every second of it, the fights, the bonding etc is just so heart warming take all the break you deserve camelia, I love your work and I'll always enjoy every second of it, im just proud that i can say with confidence that i know who camelia cuevas is and is probably (most definetly) one of the best youtubers i had ever met, i love you camelia cuevas and i hope you are doing well💜

After waiting for almost years, We all know that the detail,story everything gonna be insane! Our waiting gonna be worth it! Edit after watched the whole thing : This is the best animation I've ever seen, I really love it! The story, design, emotion, dramatic, fighting, effect etc. are all masterpiece. After binging the whole series from the start I have so much to say, absolutely incredible doesn't even begin to describe this series, seeing the animation progress, the limited but amazing voice preformence, all the little details, the fact you managed to give everyone some form of closure, honestly projects like this truly give me hope for mankind, because with this much dedication, anything is possible!

I honest to god forget that this series has characters from Undertale in it. Your writing is so sublime and you've expanded upon and transformed this group of monsters and humans into something entirely your own, yet they're still recognizable as that cast we all fell in love with back in 2015. I'd also comment on how drastically your art has improved since this series started, but like, I don't need to say what so many have said, do I? You're absolutely bloody phenominal Camila. I stopped watching this roughly 6-7 years ago after you took that really long break. Until one day, it dawned on me at work that I should check it again. And holy shit, I was not expecting this ending. And the funny thing is that when I left episodes, I was only 12, now I'm 19 and watching these episodes again just brings back good memories. Thank you Camilla, for this whole entire animation; you probably went through hell trying to make 'em, and I just wanna say how much I appreciate it. it hurts me in a good way seeing everyone living their lives. but i can't help but feel that someone is missing. i know frisk is in the void and that they will never come back, but i can't help but feel like the embodiment of hate, just before dying, was that kid. or maybe i'm just confused. either way, this was a really good closure, thank you for bringing this story to us. i'm looking forward to the next season, and please remember to take a lot of breaks and taking care of your own well being. and again, thank you.

34:27 the downtown area was destroyed while Jessica was in charge of things, and I don't recall anyone dying (ignoring sans and frisk, since they were doomed anyway) while Rave was in command. granted he DID almost die not once by twice, so it was not 100% clean, then again when a megalomaniac with plot armour (Bete in this case) comes in there is not exactly much you can do.

I like how it kept it's base purpose, to continue no matter what happens. Sans, Alphys, Frisk and other side characters died. There wasn't some happy ending cure at the end to bring them all back. That's not continuing. Tragic losses happen in life and they stick. You don't have a retry button, you have to continue. It's what makes life and relationships precious, because they end. It keeps those death scenes just as heart-breaking on a re-watch too. Since you know that's it. They aren't coming back.

I love the way Chara’s Hate, or Animosity, is used as an ability. It’s sort of like a power-enhancer that can be activated at any time, but it can also just appear without command under some circumstances. Like at 23:39, it clearly, with command, has some influence on their level of power at that moment, but at 26:45 it’s more encouraged to appear solely from the amount of emotion they’re feeling. On another note, what an ending. It’s impressive how well you could end every character’s arcs around the same time, with no issues. You should take a long break before the prequel, obviously, but you should also just give yourself a pat on the back for finally concluding this incredible story. Now I will proceed to cry for 5 minutes straight.

something i don't think many people noticed but... hate has a mouth and NORMAL eyes in it's final moments. i feel like hate has frisk's soul. or at least what's left of it. because after hate gets the red sword, the empty red determination soul shows, which is what would've happened to chara. frisk gave chara his determination, which is why when the soul shows on hate, it's empty.

I absolutely adore the detail of HATE being incredibly similar to Frisk, using what's basically just a larger version of Frisk's sword, having similar movements, and even gaining Frisk's eyes the last time it opens them before dying (30:00), since Frisk is, in the end, the origin of the HATE that Chara and Asriel are fighting.

This officialy is my all time favorite series ever created. Camila was able to make this masterpiece, dedicated to Undertale, remind us why we love Undertale. Through all the toxic fanbases and weird people that butcher Undertale, Camila just made us realize what makes Undertale, Undertale. A beautiful work of art this was. So many memorable moments throughout the series, and Asriels "BUT IT REFUSED" part gave me the most goosebumps out of all the others. Outstanding job Camila. And rest peacefully now Sans you deserve a lunch break.

I don’t have the words to properly describe the emotions I felt, watching the final fight with Hate. It’s important to remember that certain physical traces of Frisk still existed, like the blood sample Gaster took before Chara replaced him. And Hate was generated by Frisk. That (what I hope is a) fact was so expertly reflected in the fight itself. There were so many little moments I only noticed watching the second time where it felt like callbacks to certain moments in the series, or things alluding to the fact that, well, this is Frisk’s Hate. Maybe I’m just projecting, because I’ve been thinking about this since I saw the trailers, but it felt like such a proper send-off to Frisk- the very being he created whose sole purpose was to destroy stopping at the very last second, regaining a shred of it’s creator’s humanity, that sorrowful, remorseful, and bitter look in it’s eyes conveying how much it utterly despises that Chara had to replace him, but knowing it was the only way for everyone to live on. It’s just a theory. But Cami has had this planned for years now. And I doubt all the hints dropped were just accidents. Amazing work, Cami. Can’t wait for the Prequel.

Honestly I find it cool to think that in hate’s final moments it actually gained the consciousness of Frisk before death. The culmination of all that determination in one place (hate itself, Chara, and Asriel) does strange things to the timeline, strange enough to probably bring someone back from nonexistence, and I feel like the refusal to strike chara was Frisk’s final act in this entire series. But that’s just a theory… no, I won’t say it.
