You are so good at drawing animals, and so much more confident in it than you used to be (I think there was the start of a shift somewhere around the time you did the ep where you'd been drawing your doggo), and I learn from you every time. For some reason KZfaq put a video in my recommendations again from a couple years ago, that I'm pretty sure I watched at the time you posted (but YT gets drunk and randomly thinks I've not seen some vids), it was about how ill you were. As someone with multiple chronic illnesses it resonated at the time (and still does). It's easy to miss but with that reminder of how unwell you were, the difference in your energy between then and now is night and day, back then it was so obvious in your voice you were hurting and it was making you low; but you didn't let it stop you doing the thing you love, and I'm (somewhat selfishly) glad for that because you inspired me to bring art back into my life (and you make me smile & laugh at the same time too), but also I think doing something we enjoy helps us to get up each day and face whatever it brings regardless of if it's pain and fatigue or something else, and that little bit of enjoyment in itself can help us feel a little better, even when sometimes it's only temporarily. Anyway, all that because I wanted to check in and ask, how are you doing now, Rin? It does sounds like you're doing lots better, so I really hope that's the case. I hope the current situation isn't getting to you too much. I've been shielding (what our UK government called self isolating to protect yourself if you're vulnerable due to health confitions) with my mum since Mid March, officially we were supposed to be easing that in the last few weeks but it's felt like a bad idea to step outside our little safe haven given that things are getting worse again. Anyway, thank you for continuing to share your wonderful art and sense of humour with us, even in the times when you were feeling unwell, it is always appreciated. 🥰

Something wholesome- I watch these videos when I’m either planning anything (currently it’s medical stuff) or when I just wake up. I am trans masculine and I was talking about top surgery with my doctor (the boobs get removed in top surgery). My moms insurance called. They said they can cover the expenses. Promptly after, dad called saying he doesn’t agree. I’m not yet planning (don’t have the date and still need more appointments), but the fact that the insurance said they have our backs is great.

I've been drawing horses traditionally ever since I was small and since my my style focuses on realism I must admit that even though horses are usually the only thing I draw, I still need references just so I know exactly where their muscles and joints are... really enjoyed watching this video it always brings me joy seeing someone learning something new and trying something different... going out of their comfort zone, good job Rin ❤

The school supplies my parents always buys me are mostly dark colored. None of those cute stuff. They told me that it might 'distract' me from studying. I thought it was just an excuse but turns out it's true. I bought this cute flashy pencil case when I was 11 and everyone started asking me where I bought it and I ended up forgetting to study. My parents really do know what's best
