The window is so you can see what you’re highlighting and where it stops. I think. Because I don’t use highlighters because I keep highlighting too much. So this solves that.

My current oc's are all characters in one story, wich is set in an archipelago so there's currently 3 protags, eacg one in a part of it. This gave me motivation to redesign like 5 oc's or so, thanks!
