Күн бұрынFor the first festival hosted by the National Museum of the American Indian, the Hopi people shared artist demonstrations, history presentations, and performances of music and dance. In this segment, Edward Kabotie gives a Alternative History of America, based on a Hopi perspective. His presentation is illustrated through original songs and art created by himself and his father. This presentation was webcast and recorded in the museum's Rasmuson Theater on November 18, 2018.

10th August, sounds like a good day for all people to celebrate. Thank you soul brothers and soul sisters for living in a-chrod-dance and 'by the way' (the wei). We wont worry, we will walk with you in the shadow of the valley of death, soul brothers and soul sisters. Together, we will build the fifth world, it'll still be heaven-on-earth, we will live in a-chord-dance, 'by the wei', with vishnu wishes and hopi hope. We will sing our songs together, and dance our dances, just like we presents of presence always did, still do, and always will. Our happy Hopi hope will prosper. For good and for good.
