This lightweight and warm down blanket is fantastic for around the camp, by the fire, at the park, on the couch, or just about anywhere you go. It is comfortable, warm and lightweight. I have that blanket and it is fantastic! I use it at home and outside on the porch in the evenings or in the early morning. Great quality and very warm. Gets nice and lofty outside of the bag. Perfect for the car. The price is also WAY more reasonable on Amazon than that other overpriced one they sell at REI. And, my dog loves it and her hair does not get all imbedded in it since it has the ripstop fabric.

Would a wool blanket + a blanket like that be able to handle 30 degrees car camping

It depends on if you are in a tent, or in your car, and what you would be wearing as well. I think you could make it work, but it would not be ideal.
