R O B O T B O Y Well Kojima approached them about the decima engine after HZD released and he saw what the engine was capable of. HZD was getting praise from CD Projekt Red and Kojima shortly after it was revealed.

SpurnOfHumanity They’re close but I don’t think it did yet , BotW sold 7,780,000 ... as of last month but Horizon is a new Ip and will probably surpass that Edit : Horizon sold OVER 7,500,000 so there really isn’t an exact number so it might have sold more

Its basically been confirmed there will be a sequel. Guerilla Games said they want Horizon Zero dawn to be their next big franchise and they want it to last as long as Killzone!

Linus Webe Don't forget that Horizon is an open world game without any loading screens. To achieve that with that level of detail put into everything is way more impressive than anything Uncharted 4 did.

Fantastic game. It baffles me why so many people bash it compared to Breathe of the Wild. Like, can we not enjoy two good open world games, guys? Why does one *have* to be better? Chill... *Edit: Wow! Kinda shocked the replies to this were so civil. Glad to see some honest discussion instead of blind hatred from obsessive fans.

Big Boss Most of the hate, at least from what I've noticed, comes from Farcry fans saying its just a rehash of that. But I really don't see it, if this game is a ripoff because it has animals then so is just about every other game in general. Others just say "It's boring" or "Doesn't bring anything new" Except that it actually does. So I guess it's kind of like that genetic taste thing, where something nice to someone tastes like soap to someone else.

Conor1997 It wasn’t bad or anything but it felt rushed at some points and just weak. The ending boss was a huge let down very easy not that orignial or epic. And i played on max difficulty still wasn’t that hard

Archangel underrated is the wrong word and didn’t really express what I wanted; more it has been drowned out by other games and hasn’t nearly got the reputation it deserves, but as normal it’s a personal opinion

There's a lot a sequel could cover. The game had a lot of questions unanswered. The Forbidden West and rebooting GAIA, for one. Also, whatever Sylens is up to and his Metal Devil. There's definite possibility there.

In my 36 years i feel Horizon is the greatest game i have ever played! It sucked me, and then my 4-year-old boy and finally my Mrs in throughout the story! By halfway through we just couldn't believe how beautiful the game looked and the feel of it.......It was truly stunning. No other game has ever gotten us so involved as much as Horizon, and i won't forget that. I brought a xbox one x right after as i needed some 4k in my life after seeing Horizon on my standered ps4. I brought Assassins creed origens, tomb raider and more.......I was so disapoited it us ynbelievable. The Standered ps4 verson of Horizon looks better on my 4k TV than any Xbox one x game. Thats how impressive and gorgous Zero Dawn is!

If you pick up Horizon you're in for a real treat. It's has everything I love about open world gaming from the; Exploration, crafting, hunting, dynamic skill tree, secrets and a very fluid combat system there's just so much to love about HZD that it will blow you away. 10/10 game

NYYanks2003040506 I just wonder where can they go from there. I mean sure there are other rogue subsystems and sylence with Hades as possible antagonists, but I was wondering more bout the world. Will it be same area with new locations cause they would wanna same meridian as a hub? Or will it be entirely new area? What if it's gonna be some other cradle facility, where apollo wasn't deleted, and civilization there more advanced?

This game was an absolute masterpiece. It's majesty and beauty stopped me dead in my tracks. The story brought me to tears in each and every one of my 13 playthroughs and challenge runs. I've been hardcore gaming for 31 years and this is at the top of the list. An experience I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you, you have enriched my life more than you will ever know.

"Strong female protagonist" that's a bit of a cliché at this point, makes me chuckle everytime I hear it, does that really need to be pointed out? It's more sexist to point it out than not. To me she's a strong character that just happens to be a woman. Or let's start doing the same with guys, "strong male protagonist, yes! so proud", of what exactly? lol. Absolutely loved the game even though I usually hate Open World titles, trully a work of love.

It also has one of the best scores I've heard in a game. Seriously, the blend of chamber orchestra, synth, siyotanka, and Julie Elven's voice in "Aloy's Theme" is just simultaneously haunting, inviting, and energizing. I can listen to it all day.

It should have got game of the year. It completely shuts on breath of the wild. And yes I’ve played it. Ones mans opinion. This gave me goosebumps.

This game was a perfect example of single player experience from the music to a beautiful cinematic universe and great characters. These kind of games always bring me back to play video games!
