Pulling this prank in real life is a quick way to get your boyfriend locked up for aggravated battery. Any even slightly protective boyfriend is going to seriously hurt the guy before she has a chance to tell him it's a prank. 1 errant blow to the back of the head even with just fists can cause irreparable damage, let alone multiple blows from an angry adrenaline fueled man to the head.
