Hey, I actually saw one of your horror recommendations!!! Woohoo! Does this mean I’m allowed in the horror fans club? I’ve seen Frozen and it gave me so much anxiety. I thought it was really great. The entire time I was trying to think what I would do if I was in their situation. Great video Stephanie!

You're the Co-Founder of Grey Pride Merch; I can't have any club without you. 😂😂 Frozen is definitely one that will drive the anxiety through the roof. Have you seen, Fall?? Not a horror film but a pretty cool thriller with two gals stuck on a platform up on a tower. It's got a great twist to the story. Not sure you'd watch it more than once but it's definitely worth a look. I will NEVER be stuck on a ski lift because I rarely leave home so.... problem solved. 😂😂😂 Thanks so much for watching, Jon. When Evil Lurks is my favourite horror movie of last year. The Last Circus, Messiah of Evil and What Keeps You Alive are great as well. I was curious about Piggy so I will check it out soon. Awesome recommendations.

Great channel. 5/5 - Excellent delivery (you're not some bro shouting at me why I need to like this or that film) - Great spoiler-free synopses which address style, mood, tropes, and areas of special interest (in case of the Adams family). Hi Cory. I think you'll like Piggy; it's a very different take in the horror genre. I'd say it's a mix of coming of age, horror and thriller. Just very unique and definitely keeps me coming back. I love the Adams family pics. Hellbender, Deeper you dig and Where the Devil Roams all rocked. Their original music is great too. They do literally everything on those movies. Looking forward to their next movie.

I was so impressed with them after watching the special features on the Arrow release and finding out that they really do everything to make the movies happen. I just finished watching Hellbenders on Shudder and it was fantastic! If it ever becomes available on physical media I'll definitely scoop it up. Thanks for the great list! I LOVED "Messiah of Evil". I read that the ending is so abrupt because they ran out of money, but I think they did a wonderful job with what they had. "Piggy" started out as a 14-minute short film called "Cerdita" so if you liked one it might be worth watching the other.

Hi friend. I've heard that about Messiah Of Evil as well. It seemed like they were just plagued with issues trying to get the movie done but I totally agree with you that the end product is great. It's one that really stayed with me and I can't wait to watch it again. I didn't know that Piggy started out as a short so I'm definitely going to find and watch that. Great movie recommendations! Glad I found your channel. I loved The Taking of Deborah Logan. I have an extensive horror movie collection - I especially like gaillo, 70s horror. Have you ever seen The Twisted Nerve or Don't Look Now?

The Criterion release is really nice and I believe they just did a 4K upgrade for it as well. I don't think I've ever seen, The Twisted Nerve but I'll definitely look into it. Hi Stephanie. Unrelated, but I wanted to say thank you for the "Six Feet Under" recommendation. I'll admit it took me a while to get into the show but it was really great. The ending is probably one of the best series endings I have ever seen. I have already watched the last 10 minutes twice and will probably go again. Thank You. Cheers !

Hi Steve. I think you'll enjoy Frozen. It's a mix of horror/thriller but so much fun. Definitely far better than I ever expected. I watch horror all year and I've had so many horror folks asking for regular horror videos so I figured it was time. But yes, I definitely crank up the horror watching in the fall/winter. I've started in with the Criterions to get ready for the July sale and Warner Archives just because they never disappoint. Thanks so much for watching and being here. Nice recommendations! I love Frozen. I own that one. Piggy was really good but you've got to watch it with the subtitles because the dubbed one is awful. The Taking of Deborah Logan is really good, but I would choose The Possession of Michael King over that one.

Yes!! I definitely had a tough time the first round because it was late and I wasn't feeling great. The gore really got to me. 🤢🤢 But then I watched it again and absolutely loved it. Such a great story and different take on the possession sub-genre. It's one I keep going back to again and again. Thanks so much for checking out the video. 🙂👋👋

"Messiah Of Evil" airs all the time on The Film Archive channel, but I've never watched it from the beginning. Stephanie, I'll suggest again "The Lodgers", which is on Hamilton Books for $6. Another good one is the Spanish film "Veronica" by the director of the [Rec] series. Then there's "The Babysitter" and "The Babysitter: Killer Queen" starring Samara Weaving. _ _ _ Also since in case you missed it Good Smile's website has the "Jaws" Nendoroid up for pre-order for a Q1 2025 release.

Hi friend. Definitely try to give Messiah Of Evil a watch from beginning to end. I found it to be better than I expected. I did pick up Lodgers but need to give it a watch. 😊 I'll check out Veronica. @@vonVilei know. There are boxes of movies I haven't gotten to in the hauls just yet because I'm putting new shelves together. I just grab a few things at a time for haul videos. It will most likely be in the next one. I found 3 boxes of things I've never gotten to after I did the video. 😂😂😂

I put the three Spanish Movies on my list but I did watch the Trailers first and That convinced me to put them on the list very Interesting . . .THE TAKING OF DEBORAH LOGAN saw that a long time ago Excellent Movie and for those who are a prime membership they are showing it for free on TV might watch it again tonight :) . . .

Watched a couple of weeks ago the two Terrifier movies on Amazon Prime. Hmmm...not really my cup of tea tough. Almost no story, only things that happen to shock you. Hmmm...these movies were a waste of my time actually :S But, as a movie enthusiast, I try to watch different things try to keep up with movie trends and such. "Frozen" I've put on my watchlist :)
